The next couple of weeks fly by. You've been busy tending to the varies farm chores, fishing, and have been to the mine a couple of times. You finally had enough to buy a chicken coop off Robin. It's a beautiful Saturday morning. You just finished watering the crops. Nothing could be harvested today and nothing needed weeded. You decide to head in and change into some nicer clothes. You put on a simple sundress and then thought about going fishing today.

You decide to go visit the different waters around. You'll head up to the mountains first, so you can stop by Robin's place to get that chicken coop finally. Then fish in that lake for awhile. Then maybe head down to the river in Cindersap forest or the pond. You weren't sure what you wanted to do.

You grab your gear, heading out for a nice day. It doesn't take long to get to Robin's place. It's just hitting nine in the morning. You open the door and there's Robin, sitting at her counter. It looks like she's drawing a blueprint for something.

"Hi Robin!"

"Hey Y/N! What brings you in today?"

"I finally have enough money and supplies for that chicken coop!" You say excited, placing the money on the counter.

"That's awesome!" Robin says, counting out your money. "Yep you got enough! I'll start on it tomorrow for you. Just place your materials where you want the coop at. I'll be over early in the morning. I might even beat you awake tomorrow." She jokes.

"Haha, you might. I usually sleep in at least one day a week so I'm not over doing myself."

*That's a good idea." Just when her husband Demetrius walks in. "Oh hi honey. I was just talking with Y/N."

Demetrius nods. "Hello Y/N. I was actually just thinking about you."

"Oh, I hope that's a good thing." You say. Demetrius chuckles.

"It is. I was wondering if I could do something with that empty cave you have on your farm."

"What did you have in mind?"

"Well, I want to study the local wildlife. I could either put mushrooms in the cage to grow or put something in there to attract fruit bats. They would leave fruit in the cave and you could take it."

"Ooo, I like the fruit bats idea. I could use that fruit for jams and wine. Especially jam right now. I found the blueprints for preserve jars the other day."

"Perfect! I'll get it setup in a couple of days for you then."

"Great!"

Demetrius nods and heads off to do his thing. You finish your talk with Robin and head off to the lake. You setup and end up fishing for a couple of hours when you notice someone wearing yellow going to sit by the lake. You don't recognize him. You get up to go say hello. He sees you walking over and quickly gets up, he looks nervous.

"Hello there! I haven't seen you yet around here. I'm Y/N. I moved onto the old farm a couple of weeks ago."

"O-oh, hello. I'm Linus. I live in the tent up there on the hill." He says pointing to it.

"Oh, that's cool." You say looking up at it and then back to Linus. You get the feeling he doesn't want to talk. "Okay Linus. I'll leave you alone now. I just wanted to say hi!" You say kindly. You turn around and head back to your fishing spot.

Another hour goes by. It's twelve now so you decide to head home for some lunch real quick. You gather your things and go back home. You decide you eat some pizza you had from the saloon last night. You've made it a habit to you every Friday now. You've gotten to know a lot more of the folks in town. Like there's a blacksmith named Clint. He kinda gives you the creeps though. You've gotten to know Harvey better, Gus and Emily too. You like to bring Emily any gems you find in the mines right now. You'll give Abby any amethyst that you find. Weirdly enough, she eats them sometimes? You'll never understand that. Apparently Sebastian likes frozen tears but you haven't been down far enough in the mines yet to find any.
