A piercing scream echoed through the air, as Ginny Weasley came running from her fathers shed, tears pouring down her face, her hand clutched to her cheek. She had disappeared in there with her date a half hour earlier.

Harry continued eating his dessert, not missing the look his lover and friend were giving him. He'd had a feeling she was planning something. Having dropped by the day before to ask Molly and Arthur if they would mind if he brought Severus to their anniversary party as they had started seeing each other. Molly couldn't have been happier that Harry was seeing someone and told him she would be glad to have Severus attend the gathering. As he was leaving, he saw a flash of ginger hair as someone scurried up the stairs and knew Ginevra had been eavesdropping on their conversation.

When they had arrived that evening, it was to see the Chaser for the Ballycastle Bats on Ginny's arm, seeing it for the pathetic attempt it was at making Harry jealous and getting him to notice her, the Auror concentrated on enjoying the evening and the company. Draco had whispered in his ear the poor dolt didn't know what he'd signed up for agreeing to go anywhere with the silly bint, Harry had to agree. He was glad Draco had come to the party with Neville and his grandmother, it made the murderous look on Ginny's face all that more amusing.

"Ginny what's the matter?" Arthur asked, rising from his seat, and going to his distressed daughter.

"I was showing Aidan all your muggle stuff, he said he wanted to see how a vacuum cleaner worked, so I took him in to show him the one you've got" Ginny blubbered, wiping tears from her eyes "He started to put his hands on me and try and kiss me, when I told him to stop I wasn't ready for anything like that, he wouldn't listen and when I tried to push him away he punched me in the face"

Draco snorted suppressing the urge to laugh and Neville kicked him hard under the table.

Arthur looked at his daughters face where there was a very faint bruise forming a frown forming on his face. The door to the shed and Aidan stumbled out looking dishevelled and came towards the table. "Ginny what happened, one minute we were looking at stuff the next minute you were gone."

"Stay away from me" Ginny screeched, moving closer to her father.

"I think you'd better go son" Arthur said evenly.

"What! why? I don't know what happened" man sputtered.

Knowing a confusion charm when he saw one, Harry rose from the table and walked over to where the trio were standing. "You'd better come with me mate" he said to Aidan, taking him gently by the arm.

"I want him arrested and charged with assault" Ginny demanded.

Ignoring her Harry began to move away from the table. "Arthur maybe you'd better take Ginny inside get her cleaned up, I'll be along shortly."

Severus reached the top of the landing and was making his way to the bathroom, when he heard movement coming from one of the rooms. Ginevra appeared at the door as he got closer, the bruise on her face having miraculously begun to fade. Her face fell when she saw it was Snape and not Harry coming to offer comfort.

"You look disappointed Miss Weasley" Severus intoned "I expect you thought I was Harry coming to offer you comfort in your hour of need? Unfortunately for you, Harry is at this moment in your parents sitting room apprising them of your little stunt to them. I must admit it was quite the perdormance, you might need to work on your delivery, sound more convincing"

"Fuck off Snape" Ginny hissed; her face flushed with anger.

Harry appeared beside Severus and put his arm around the man's waist.

"All sorted?" Severus asked, his hand coming to rest on the top of Harry's arse.

"Yep, Arthur's taken Aidan home and then he and Molly will come and deal with her."

"Excellent, I will just use the facilities then we can go home" Severus told him.

"Might join you" Harry purred running his hand over Severus' crotch and giving it a squeeze.

"It's the champagne" Severus said with an amused glint "Always makes him horny."

Ginny let out a deafening screech, Harry and Severus walked into the bathroom to the redhead yelling out that Harry should be with her, and she wouldn't have to go to these extremes if he would just give her a chance.
