The story of a young girl, Moon-Young, who discovers a whole new world as she comes across a grim reaper, Eun-woo. But who knows how things will end up in the future?
"WHATT???" I shout in such a loud voice, that everyone in the hall starts looking at me.
"Don't shout like that, dumbo. It's a rule in the Reapers' Customs and Duties book. I'm not enjoying the fact that I'll have to live with you either, as you can see." he says, and starts walking out of the department.
"Yeah, and I definitely don't want to, either." I reply, following him.
"Maybe I can request them to change my student."
"Yeah, you probably should."
"But, I remember that my senior tried to change their student once. He said that the gods decide very carefully the students and their in-charges. They couldn't have made a mistake."
"Hmm..... wait. So, you're saying that we're actually going to live together??"
To be completely honest, I don't hate the idea. I just don't want him to think I don't hate it.
"I think so." he says, and looks at me.
"Will that really be okay?" I ask him.
"I.... hope so." he says, unexpectedly.
We get out of the "Office" and start walking again. It's almost morning. I'm still processing the fact that I'm going to live with a grim reaper, being a reaper myself, who's a guy about my age. Or is he? Grim reapers don't age, right? So, he might be a century old!!!! Who knows?
"Umm.... don't mind me. But can you tell me how old are you?" I ask, hesitantly.
"I'm 17."
"Oh... wait.So, do grim reapers age or not?"
"They do. I became one when I was 16. Which is, last year. They normally don't choose young ones like me to become in-charges, but, seeing my...capibilities, they allowed me to teach a student."
"Oh. Anyways.. where are we going now?"
"Home, of course. It's just down the street."
"Wait, what? You live here?!" I ask, astonished.
I look around me, *totally flabbergasted*. It's a very rich neighbourhood. Villas and bungalows and luxurious apartments. What the hell. There's no way he actually lives here. It's only been a year since he became a reaper. How did he earn so much??
"Yes," he says, laughing, on seeing my reaction. "I told you I have amazing capabilities."
We finally reach his apartment building. It's a huge one. We make our way into room 14 on the 3rd floor. He opens the door with a key and I enter. OMG.
"Wow. This is so freaking awesome!!!!" I say, unable to control myself. This is beyond my imaginations. I think I'm beginning to really enjoy this.
"I know, right?" he says, smiling.
He takes me to a spare room. Its really pretty. It looks something like this-
