Chapter 6
━━━━━━━━ ✥ ━━━━━━━━

"WHY DOES HE HAVE TO BE HERE?"

"He's part of the Order."

"He's a bitch."

"Dumbledore trusts him."

"Still a bitch."

"He prepares Remus' potion."

"Still. A. Bitch."

Harry must have said 'bitch' louder than intended that last time because Snape looked up towards the stairs, where Adhara and he were watching — spying — on the Order members coming and going into the kitchen.

"Black. Potter."

"Snape," they said simultaneously.

"Professor."

"Where?" bit back Adhara, making Harry smirk.

Snape scowled. "Careful. It would be a pity to have the wolf go without his potion."

Harry and Adhara glared, watching the man strut to the kitchen, cloak flowing dramatically behind him.

"As I said, bitch."

Adhara hummed in agreement.

Out of nowhere, a voice startled them from behind.

"Black. Potter."

Both jumped, turning around, coming face to face with Severus Snape's glower.

"What the fuck?" whispered Harry.

"Language, Mr. Potter. Fifty points from Gryffindor."

"What the fuck?"

Adhara crossed her arms, throwing a withering look at the man. Snape mimicked her. They glared back at each other for a while, until the potion-master's face slowly contorted into a grin.

"Tonks," stated Adhara.

Slowly, Snape features mellowed down, the greasy back locks turning into Nymphadora Tonks' pink ones. The hooked nose, for a lack of better words, unhooked, morphed back to her pointy one, which she definitely got from her mother's side since it weirdly resembled Draco's.

"You should've seen your faces!"

Adhara rolled her eyes, turning away and walking down the steps.

"Aren't you supposed to be in the meeting?" Harry had his arms crossed. Tonks has been coming around often, ever since the full moon last month, but she has yet to gain Harry and Adhara's full trust.

Andromeda had reassured them that she had gotten an earful after her stunt during their third year, but the kids were still sceptical. It didn't discourage Tonks, however, determined to win their hearts.

"Wanted to chat with my favourite cousins."

"I'm not your cousin."

Tonks shrugged. "You most probably are in some way or another."

And Harry was reluctant to admit that he was starting to give in.

He watched Adhara walk away, which seemed to have disappointed Tonks.

"You think I'll win her over one day?"

It was Harry's turn to shrug.

Tonks sighed. She ruffled Harry's hair, ruining his perfectly finger-coiled hair.

"Oi!"

"See y'a, sprog!"

And with that, she jumped over the bannister, flipped off Walburga Black's portrait and slid into the meeting room, aka the kitchen.
