Chapter 28
━━━━━━━━ ✥ ━━━━━━━━HARRY STARTLED AWAKE, HI BREATHS COMING IN HEAVY. His hand was already on his forehead, his eyes forced shut as pain rippled through his scar. He felt like his entire head was going to burn off.
Images of the Department of Mysteries flickered through his mind as his eyes remained shut. The long corridor, the door. The door slightly opening and...
Harry had physically jolted himself awake before it could open properly. He didn't know if it would work, he wasn't thinking much, only that he had realised it was a dream and he wasn't supposed to be dreaming.
At least, that was a good thing. At least, it meant that Harry had some level of control over his dreams, and that Voldemort didn't have full control.
He told his friends just as much on the train ride back to school. The rattling sound of the train against the tracks actually worked to calm Harry down as opposed to the skeptical looks Hermione was sending him.
"Are you sure? You don't mean you'll stop the lessons, do you—"
"Snape's the one who decided not to continue. And there's no one else to teach me if Snape isn't going to bother."
Hermione pressed her mouth shut. Harry turned to Adhara, who didn't look completely convinced either. Though, she sighed and shrugged.
"You understand your dreams better than the rest of us, I suppose."

The next few weeks pass by in a blur with Hermione nagging at them all about their O.W.Ls. It wasn't until the end of May, after the end of the Quidditch season, did the rest of them start to actually put effort into their studies.
Millicent didn't need the nagging, as she had been hunched over books for months now, following Hermione's example. She needed to get top results in order to become a healer. Although her apprenticeship with Pomfrey was going to help loads, she did not wasn't too risk anything.
The athletes of the group however, had been more preoccupied by their sport.
Harry and Adhara observed as the rest of the Gryffindor team carried Ron away. Harry's mouth was stretched into a grin, teasingly elbowing his sister.
"Rotten luck that Slytherin didn't get the cup." Though, deep down, Harry knew they had a terrible year, with Umbridge slowing students down with her rules then her detentions. And Rosier had not been any better.
Adhara shrugged. "Wait till next year. I'm beating you when I'm captain."
"Captain?" Harry's brows shot up.
"Montague's leaving. Who else is going to be appointed Captain?" And Adhara has already acted as a temp this year when Montague was bedridden.
"Confident, are you?"
"Logical."
Harry hummed. "You'll have to find a new chaser."
"I'm already on the lookout. Either way, no one can match up to Montague right now. Even Astoria. As good as she has gotten this year, she isn't better than Flint."
Adhara didn't mean that as an insult. She wasn't undermining Astoria Greengrass, only stating facts. Adhara, Montague and Flint were a force to be reckoned with. Harry actually enjoyed playing against them.
"It's nice that Montague got to play in his last match. Pomfrey's a miracle worker."
Adhara smirked. "Had to be, with the number of times she's had to deal with you."
