Careful What You Wish For

"fuck you! fuck you! fuck you! fuck you! fuck you!" that was all ezra heard when olivia opened her mouth, on repeat, every second he saw her.

"let me guess, you're gonna say fuck you now?" he watched as she packed her bag with flour and baking powder and everything that can be used to bake.

"fuck you." he didn't deserve to hear anything else from her. "listen," he got up from the kitchen counter, trying to walk up to olivia who took a step back, her eyes laser focusing on him.

"im really sorry about what happened." she didn't have time for apologies, she had placed to be. "are you sorry it happened or that i found out?"

"that's such a fucking cliche." ezra scoffed, watching his sister roll her eyes and grabbing her car keys. "i can't process this with anything other than fucking cliches because you broke my brain!" she was allowed to yell at him, she was allowed to be angry at him.

"then stay here and let's talk it out, you don't always have to run." he blocked her way to the door, he was right, she was running but she was tired and going to wes' place for a while was just what she needed. she didn't know what she would do after that but it was a future olivia on problem.

"where do you think i learned that?" she pushed past him, walking out the door and slamming it shut behind her. wes was waiting for her at her car, he didn't want to get involved in what was going on between them, he knew olivia was doing him a favour by not calling the police on him. yes, she hated him but she couldn't hurt him, she could cuss him out but she couldn't hurt him.

"let's get you to school, ill take your things to my place." he grabbed the bag from her and she let him take it. "i wanna make weed muffins when i get home," she handed him the keys, not in the driving mood.

"those are my favourite kind of muffins." wes jogged up the car door, getting in first while olivia stood outside for a second. she could see her bedroom window, her black curtains hiding what's inside from the world and from now on, she would be forever on the outside.

the curtain opens and ezra looks down at her, high and mighty from up there. olivia doesn't give him a second of her time, getting into the car.

"im gonna get out a little late today, helping with school." olivia turned on the radio as her brother pulled the car out of the parking area.

"since when do you do things for school?" the only thing that made olivia stay at school when she didn't need to go was field hockey and she had to be reminded to go sometimes and some days ezra had to force her or else she wouldn't leave her room.

"since my girlfriend asked me to." olivia sticks her head out like a dog as she watched the world pass her.

"girlfriend? you guys have had that talk?" wes took a sharp turn and olivia curses under her breath, "no, because assholes have the girlfriend talk to clarify that you're not fucking other people." she answers with a side glare, olivia had never been in a relationship before so she didn't know what to do but she didn't need to be told to be loyal to aria.

"how do you know aria isn't fucking other people?"

"because she's not a fucking asshole." the car stops and wes gasps, watching olivia get out of the car. "are you calling me an asshole?"
