olivia is licking whipped cream off aria's fingers as the two girls walk out of the cafe near aria's house, after olivia's high ended, she needed something sweet to keep up her energy and she wasn't in the mood to go home so aria bought them each a pastry.

"i have an idea." olivia sticks her hand in her pocket, pulling out a chicken nugget bite and putting it in the pastry. "you had that the entire time?" aria couldn't help but laugh as she watched the girl eat in peace.

"yeah."

"that's such a looney tunes thing to do." olivia shrugs when the two girls look at the street ahead of them, planning to go home when they see hanna sitting all by herself. she had an empty cupcake box in front of her and there were three jocks sitting at the table opposite of her, they were clearly teasing her.

olivia reached them before aria did, hitting one of them at the back of the head. the boy jumped up but did nothing when he saw olivia, "don't you guys have football practice," aria sensing where this was going, pulled olivia back, "or did you lose your balls." and then she pulled olivia away, the two of them going to sit down with hanna.

"you okay, kid?" olivia reached a hand over, wiping the icing off the blonde's cheek. she shook her head, looking from olivia to where aria was, like she was going to tell her something that only the two of them knew about.

"she knows about a, she got a note." aria brushes her friend's doubt aside. "oh, are we talking about the alphabet assassin? she just left me one note,"

"we think a might be noel kahn." hanna's comment immediately made olivia furrow her brows, confusion splattered on her face. she knew noel kahn and he wasn't smart enough to terrorize the girls like that. "nope, anyone other than noel kahn. maybe moana."

"you mean mona, no offence but she's not smart enough to pull it off and she got a note from a too." hanna is the first one to defend her friend and olivia nods, finishing her treat.

hanna watches her the entire time, she has this look on her face, this hopelessness that olivia has felt about a million times.

"babe," olivia's eyes shift to aria, "can you get me a cookie?" aria just nods, leaning over to give the girl a kiss on the cheek before she walks away, giving the two girls a moment alone.

"are you okay, be honest with me." olivia's hand is soft when she reaches over to touch hanna's hands, "did a make you eat all these?" she looks over at the empty cupcake wrappers and hanna didn't have to say anything.

"i think a knows about what i did, what i used to do." olivia knows what hanna is talking about, she's been there. "what did you do?" she has to hear it, has to make sure that they've been through the same thing and talking about it, that always makes it seem less scary.

"once after a binge, my friend ali caught me and she taught me how to throw up." hanna had never been strong enough to admit that out loud before, she never told anyone about it. "my mom taught me that trick." she smiles to herself, like her pain is amusing.

"i didn't do it again if that's what you're thinking." hanna defends immediately and olivia just nods, she believes hanna. there's no point in lying now. "i know, but you're fine now, you're not in the same mind set you were back then." hanna nods, listening to everything the girl next to her is saying.

"im not."

"and a can remind you about it but they can't put you back there, a bully only has power when we give it to them." and then aria came back, a cookie in one hand and a bottle of water in the other, she hands both to olivia. "drink this, go to the bathroom, wash your face and come back." hanna takes the bottle from her, getting up as she looks down at the redhead.

"thank you for this," and then she walks away, leaving olivia alone with aria. "is she gonna be okay?" aria was gone so long that she had no idea what they were talking about now, she didn't need to know.

"yeah, let's just give her space to breathe." olivia folds her arms on the table, laying down as she eats her cookie, aria then leaning down on top of her. "this is a mediocre cookie." olivia says after the first bite, talking to the girl whose head is now on top of hers.

"we can make cookies when we go to my house." aria suggests, it makes olivia laugh because she knows she'll be the one making the cookies. "im not letting you touch anything." she was a bit of a control freak when she was in the kitchen, "i wasn't gonna help to begin with." and aria usually didn't want to help, she would just offer.

"perfect."
