The New Look

olivia was on her phone when dean saw her approach, talking to her mother when she stopped her sentence, "tell him i love him and ill see him soon." she slapped the phone shut and slipped it into her pocket.

"motherfucker," he placed his hand on her arm, "motherfucker," she greeted back as she leaned against her locker. "i need a job," she brushed her hair out of the way, looking over at him.

"you can work with me at my dad's shop." dean's dad owned a mechanic shop and luckily for olivia, she used to work on motorcycles with her dad so maybe she could work on cars. she wasn't sure but she needed the cash, they were running low on food and weed.

"thank you, motherfucker." she smiled at him as he wrapped an arm around her, "of course, motherfucker."

"so, you and mummy no longer sitting around the same fire." he said as the two started walking down the hallway. olivia hummed, "she just thinks she owes me everything because she..." olivia stoped mid sentence again and dean turned to her.

"oh, you have secrets?" he asked and she nodded with a smirk, "too many to keep track of." she sighed.

"what are you hiding olivia jane?" dean asked and she stopped as she looked at him, she opened her mouth, the words begging to be spoken when the bell rang.

"i have to get to history." she mumbled and he nodded, "ill see you at lunch." he told her and she nodded before walking away. she was half way to her class when she bumped into aria.

aria with her side ponytail and her fur jacket and her perfect smile, "guess who might get a job soon." olivia wrapped an arm around the girl's waist as she smiled down at her.

"that's amazing! where?" aria placed both hands on olivia's face as the redhead smiled down at her. "with dean's dad, im gonna be a mechanic, get my hands dirty." olivia smiled brightly and aria returned the smile.

"oh, look at you, perfect girl." aria was about to lean in to kiss the girl when hanna lowered herself to stand between the two girls, smiling at them as they pulled away from her.

"i have to get to history but ill see you two later." and she did, about two hours later, she was in the lunch room when she passed aria, brushing the girl's cheek as she walked over to where dean was sat.

he pushed over a plate of chicken nugget bites as she took one, "what did you wanna talk to me about earlier?" he asked, leaning over onto his elbows as she followed his lead.

she shook her head, watching the clock go on and on and on. "i was so stupid when i was fifteen," she whispered, "so stupid."

"what did you do?" he asked softly, she faced him, "i don't talk about it." she whispered, "i don't even think about it." she laughed to herself. "im too ashamed, i don't even talk to aria about it." she turned her head over to where aria was sat, talking to her friends.

she didn't even know what they were talking about but she didn't want to know, all she knew was that her chest ached and she needed to talk to ezra. she gently pulled her hand away from dean's. "i have to go but ill talk to you later."

"see you later, motherfucker."

she found her brother in the teacher's lounge, she knocked on the door and he turned to her. he was sitting with aria's mom and their history teacher. "hey mrs. monty." she smiled and the woman waved at her while ezra got up from his seat.

he said his greetings before walking to the door. "surprised to see you talking to me." ezra followed after his sister as she led him to his classroom.

she didn't say anything as she shut the door behind them, she crossed her arms over her chest as she leaned against the door. "ive wanted to talk to you for the longest time." he spoke softly but she didn't look at him, she looked out the window.

"can you please talk to me?" he asked as he stepped in front of her. she shook her head. "i try not to think about him." she whispered, she tried so hard not to think about him. "i barely know him and i know we said it was better this way but i don't think it is." her hands shook as he took them into her own.

ezra didn't blame her for wanting more but they had planned everything out, they said it was better that they weren't together. that olivia left home and he stayed. "you can visit him but you know you can't stay forever. people will talk."

olivia shook her head, "i don't care what people say. i don't want james to not know me." she could feel tears brimming in her eyes. "i don't want to not know him."

ezra pulled his sister into her arms, "it's for better this way." he whispered as she shook her head, "it's better this way." he repeated and all she did was shake her head. it couldn't be better this way.
