The Badass Seed
olivia sat on the floor. she was sitting on the floor at this moment and unlike most of the time, she had a good reason for it. she was in the auditorium with aria and her friends. she was auditioning for the play with spencer.
"why isn't she wearing any shoes?" she could hear hanna's voice as she read through her lines when spencer answered with, "she's auditioning to play an eight year old."
"im at the medal." spencer told her scene partner who found it, "yeah." olivia was resting with one hand to the floor behind her, leaning back as she used the other to hold her script.
"the medal?" hanna asked.
"it's what they're killing each other for." olivia answered, head not up from her page.
"that's why they call her the bad seed." spencer added shortly while olivia rested her head on aria's lap.
it was no secret that they two weren't in the best space but that didn't stop aria from running her fingers through her hair.
"well, i don't wanna play the student, i wanna play the drunk mum." hanna explained, gaining a little smirk from olivia. "as opposed to the uptight bitch mother." she added before she laughed to herself, taking a pen as she made notes.
"yeah, you already have that." hanna's teasing remake only made olivia laugh again. "speaking of mums," she was still chuckling softly when she spoke, "does your mum know about the hot guy in your basement?"
"who said he was hot?" aria laughed to herself as she looked down at olivia who shrugged, "me, right now." before she turned her attention to hanna.
the blonde looked from her to aria and back before she spoke, "no but a does."
"a needs to get a hobby, a job, a life or a wife." olivia couldn't help but roll her eyes, "or start watching soap operas because this is way too much."
the girls all looked at her now, they all felt the same way. they were all very aware of how annoying a was being.
"what are you gonna do?" emily asked her, brows lightly furrowed.
"im gonna tell my mom before a gets to her." hanna shrugged.
olivia just hummed, "i did something like that once." she shrugged, her pen now between her teeth as hanna looked at her with hopeful eyes, "what happened?"
olivia, who had been chewing on the back of her pen, paused as she looked at the words before looking back at hanna, "she's in pittsburgh, im here." that was all she knew to say.
before anyone could ask her anything about it, mona walked up to them, "hey there hanna and her clanna." her voice was extra chirpy and olivia wanted to impale herself with her pen.
"i object to being a part of the clanna." olivia raised her hand when aria pulled it down.
"hey mona, how'd it go in there?" hanna was the only one who looked happy to see her.
"honestly, nailed it. it was epic." mona looked proud of herself, smiling and she was practically glowing.
"the only thing you're good at is being a..." olivia paused, "raging beautiful bitch." she continued her sentence, her eyes never leaving mona's.
the girl's smile faltered and she made up an excuse before leaving. olivia watched her until she disappeared into the next room before she looked up at aria who seemed to already be looking at her.
"hey," the girl's voice was quiet as she reached to brush the red hair out of olivia's face. she smiled, like she always did when aria touched her.
"hi." she whispered back.
"what are you doing later?" aria sat up now, getting a better look at olivia. she moved her finger across the girl's jawline, watching as she batted her head eyes.
"hanging out with you." that was the right answer. olivia knows this because aria kissed her and that's the only right thing in her mind.
