Jayden ran as fast as his Mech Suit could carry him.

He was pissed off by Derrick's attitude, he hated those who felt they were better and superior to others even though they weren't.

Recalling his friends words of not fighting a battle he couldn't win, he did the only thing he could think of at that moment  and now that he thought about his decision properly, he realized it was a mistake.

But what could he have done, he knew that apologizing won't have been the end of it, he will have been forced to do some crazy shit a normal person won't.

There was not turning back anymore, the deed had been done.

He charged swiftly through the school grounds heading to the large red spaceship in the distance. Behind him was Derrick in his Mech Suit, traversing the terrain and reducing the distance between them with each stride.

Jayden's Mech Suit was an old model, it was three meters tall, bulky and a bit slow, he moved his legs, swiftly with all his might, trying his best to not be caught.

This wasn't like those old movies he watched where they had to just move levers and press buttons to control the Suit, but he had to actively move his body parts to move the suit, though the suit made him faster and stronger, so he put his all into running.

His Mech Suits large red color shown brightly in the morning sun attracting peoples attention, and the smaller blue Mech Suit following behind was not an exception.

Jayden threw Nate up together with his Container, Nate knowing what to do, pressed the button by its side transforming himself into a look alike of Derrick.

Nate's Mech Suit was better than Jayden's, it was smaller, about two meters in height, blue in color amd had a shine to it, it emitted soft blue lights at the joints, his chest—where the Energy Orb was— and his eyes.

Nate performed a flip and landed with a roll, he immediately began to run along side Jayden.

They where closing in on the spaceship pretty fast, Nate could have moved faster, but he didn't want to betray his friend and leave him behind even though he was scared shitless.

On getting to the ship, Jayden ignored everyone and everything around him, even the space ship that he usually gawked at whenever they came to that place. The spaceship wasn't parked at the hangar where it was supposed to be, but was in a field like area, the students going on a hunting trip were to meet at that place at a particular time. This trip was for all first years to participate in, for their monthly training.

It has been eight months since the first years got to the school and they had been going on hunting trips once every month, it was necessary to participate in the hunting trip to sharpen their instincts, failure to do so resulted in punishments given to the offenders. There was a mission hall in the school where students could take missions ranging from gathering ores to hunting down ferocious creatures during their free time, taking missions allowed them to earn points and Energy Orbs which they could use to purchase other materials.

Jayden and Nate both slowed down and walked into the ship with confidence, they knew that the no fighting rule in here was stricter than the one outside. Meaning that, if they where to fight inside a space ship no matter the reason, they will be dealt with severely. But outside, the rules where bent in favour of those with power and authority, making them trample on those who couldn't fight for themselves.

Knowing about the NO FIGHTING RULE in spaceships, Derrick could only grit his teeth and watch as the duo walked freely into the ship, Nate and Jayden deactivated the Mech Suits with a sigh of relief, Derrick walked briskly and caught up with them, he stood right in front of Jayden sizing him. He thought of all the things he could do to him now that he was right in front of him, but the rules were like a tight rope holding him down.

"You were lucky this time, but there will be no one to save you when we get to the other side." Derrick said with a menacing voice and left.

Jayden could feel his heartbeat increase again, not because he had sprinted a long distance and not because of Derrick's threat but something else he couldn't grasp.

"That was close!" Nate exclaimed happily before his mood soured. "But I didn't get to finish my breakfast, it won't be long before I become hungry again."

"Me too."

Jayden and Nate walked to the Mid-Deck of the ship where the quarters and living area where, their rooms where beside each other, just like in the school.

They both prepared for departure which was to commence in two hours and left to do their own things.

Jayden entered his room,  which had nothing but a bed, a table and a chair, this time though, that's how everyone's room was.

No one was allowed to bring anything inside, apart from their Mech Suit and some other necessary items. This rule was one of the very few that were constantly broken, with the help of the skill, Atomic Space, Students where able to store items in a separate atomic space which made them easy to carry about.

Jayden sat on his bed and felt something poking his back, he reached out and pulled an envelope from beneath him.

The envelope was black with red flower designs on the edges and red wax shaped like a heart was used to seal it.

Staring at it, Jayden instantly knew who it came from.

"Natalia." He mumbled subconsciously.

There smile on his face increased before it died down immediately and a frown emerged.

"Don't worry, I'll be back for you, then we'll deal with all those bastards together."
