Jayden's eyes turned red in anger at the words of Nahshon.
"Pathetic? ... I'll show you who's pathetic, either me who will surpass the limits of this martial arts or you who's stuck in my head, spouting nonsense!"
And with those words from Jayden, he used Peaceful Mind to regain his lost energy, and within twenty five minutes, he had recovered.
Nahshon meanwhile was feeling a bit sad, he had said those words to Jayden to rile him up and make him work harder, it had worked, but it also backfired and he ended up receiving a verbal abuse that hit him hard.
[I never wanted to be stuck in someone's head, but I'm doing it for the sake of humanity, to prevent our extinction]
Nahshon said with sadness audible in his voice, but Jayden was meditating at that moment and didn't hear his statement.
Jayden got up with the sword in his hands, ready to beat his record.
He navigated through the depths of his consciousness to find the technique for pulling out energy from the Creation Orb and then he began channeling energy through his sword.
The technique, Asuras Wrath, required him to channel energy through his sword and let it accumulate, before letting it out at the specified target. When the technique is mastered, he would be able to perform it consecutively, without pause, until he ran out of energy or until he wished to stop.
Jayden's focus was stretched finely in all areas he needed them, this put a heavy strain on his mind and he began to bleed from his nose again.
His muscles tensed, and the energy began to blow around him wildly, he opened his eyes and thrust his sword forward with accurate precision.
A loud bang, though not as loud as the previous one, was let out as a purple beam was released from the sword. Unlike before when Jayden didn't see the beam, this time he saw it clearly as it disappeared into the distance.
Then what was the loud bang if the beam hit nothing?
Apparently, the loud bang wasn't the sound of the attack hitting anything, but it was the sound barrier breaking the moment the attack was released from his black Radianium sword.
Jayden looked at his energy and saw that he had used up two-third of it.
Jayden didn't stop at that, and once again began to let the energy gather in his sword. His energy was used up almost immediately, he thrust his sword outward making it cut through the air without resistance.
A loud bang was heard again, as the purple beam disappeared into the distance. Jayden sat down in the famously known lotus position and activated Peaceful Mind.
__________
Eight hours later, Jayden could be seen laying on the ground with his limbs sprawled like a dead star fish. He was covered in sweat and blood and his eyes were constantly fluttering as he tried to not pass out from the mental and physical strain.
Draven could no longer sleep, as every twenty-five to thirty minutes, a loud bang will go off with jayden being the cause of it.
He had tried Asuras Wrath multiple times, and every time he ran out of energy, he immediately meditated to recover before proceeding with the training again.
Jayden had thrust his sword more times than he could count already, and he could now perform Asuras Wrath fifteen times before running out of energy.
It was still too little, compared to the number of times he would be able to do it at perfect mastery which was a whooping hundred times.
Jayden then tried cultivating to ease his fatigue and increase his stats, just like Nahshon said will happen.
He sat down with his legs crossed and his palms on his thighs, he breathed in and out and entered the thoughtless thoughts state, he tugged at the energy in the Creation Orb and pulled it out of the Orb before moving it around every inch of his body without fail.
The tension in his muscles were reduced drastically, but he still felt tired due to the arduous training he underwent.
He stayed in the thoughtless thoughts state some more until he felt his strength return to him. He moved his hands about as if they were something new to him.
"I feel.... stronger." Jayden said with clenched fists. "The Creation Orb has done a lot compared to what I ever expected."
Jayden didn't bother checking his stats to confirm his increase in strength, because he could feel it already.
"It will soon be time for us to meet up, I better get going."
Jayden exited the Void Space and was welcomed by the sight of a burning forest. Smoke covered his vision and his sight blurred, but that soon changed as he felt energy trickle into his eyes.
The smoke was beginning to clear in his eyes, but the smell of the smoke was proof that it was still there.
Jayden heard a roar and saw the silhouette of an animal that resembled a bear running right for him.
Jayden quickly assessed the situation and took out his sword.
As the beast came into view, Jayden checked it out to see it's strength.
[Name: Rage's Manifestation]
[Tier: Intermediate]
[Stage: Peak]
[Healthy]
[Affinity: Fire]
"That's a first!" Jayden said as he noticed that the beast was at the Peak Stage of the Intermediate Tier.
Blazing eyes came into view as the bear arrived some meters away from him. It had black skin with tongues of flames dancing around it that constantly licked the air. It's paws were also on fire and scorched wherever it stepped. Even at that distance Jayden could feel the heat coming off of the beast.
It roared loudly and charged at Jayden who wasted no time and channeled a bit of energy using the technique embedded in his consciousness.
He waved his sword as it clashed with the paws of the bear, it cut deeply into it and drew blood almost instantly. Jayden pulled back and retreated several steps to analyze the situation.
The bear gave him no time to properly think and attacked him again with rage that Jayden didn't understand why it felt towards him.
Several clashes later, Jayden had taken off all the paws of Rage's Manifestation.
He then began to gather energy in his sword, preparing to test his attack on a living being.
He let the energy gather, but didn't dare close his eyes, because during his fight, the bear had released several fireballs that burnt his torn body suit further.
Jayden thrust his sword and an explosion went off as blood, bones, flesh, muscles, organs, dust, rocks and splinters of wood was thrown every where.
Jayden let down his arm and saw the devastation his single attack had caused. The bear had been reduced to nothing but a heap of mangled flesh, some bones and a little bit of blood. The upper half of the bear was no more and the remaining flesh seemed to be sizzling.
"That was powerful." Jayden said, but the roars of several beasts brought him out of his shocked state and he began to run.
