In a hall where there were several machines and materials for training, ranging from Resistance Bands to Treadmills, Rowing Machines, Weight Benches, Power Racks, Barbells, Weight Plates, Dumbbells, Kettlebells etc.
Nate and Knell watched Jayden perform several feats that seemed impossible to them, they had only seen a group of people do what he did and those were the second years.
Jayden –without his Mech Suit– ran faster than a cheetah, punched harder than a gorilla and lifted weights that far surpassed a normal humans physical strength.
"Jayden's human and not an android... Right?" Knell said with a bit of disbelief in his voice.
He was unable to understand how Jayden was doing this kind of things without his Mech Suit activated.
Jayden meanwhile was doing his daily tasks, he had told Nahshon to place the metal rings beneath his new body suit, because if Nate and Knell knew that he was achieving those feats with several pounds of metal wrapped around him, it might shock them even more.
Jayden finished his tasks and sat down to cultivate, to take away his fatigue and to increase his physical strengths.
It had been one week since they had returned from Planet Euphoria and this was the first time since then, that the three boys had worked out together.
Knell being a lazy bum, saw no reason to go through such rigorous training, his Mech Suit would do all the heavy lifting and movement anyway. Those were his thoughts.
Nate –who was working out previously– stopped to watch Jayden do his stuff, he was beyond surprised at how he had increased in strength within just two weeks. This made him want to work hard even more to not be left behind by his dearest friend.
Knell –not caring about the work out– slowly sneaked out while they weren't watching, to go and grab a snack and hurriedly return.
Jayden didn't even bother about the two of them, he was eager for the day to end quickly. Today was the day when his new Mech Suit was going to be completed, he had high hopes for it and wanted it to be something that won't be hard to grasp and easily understood.
The Interstellar Tournament was in one week and the departure of the Schools Spaceship to the Arena will be in the next two days.
Every participant –who were mostly second years– were training hard for it and only a few of the first years were signing up for the tournament to test their strength against other races.
Jayden wasn't going to sign up using his name, but he was going to do so using another persona. He didn't want anyone to ask questions about his sudden increase in strength, he didn't care about what his parents were going to say about him not participating, they could do their worst.
He had amassed enough Energy Orbs to exchange for credits and in turn he could use the credits to sign up for the tournament when he got there. The credits his parents sent to him to use to purchase a spot in the tournament was instead used to buy new skills.
The new skills were [Force Absorption] and [Force Emission], they were costly, but their uses were more than enough for now. The skills worked hand in hand, and just like the name implied, [Force Absorption] absorbed the kinetic energy of an attack that didn't surpass it's level, while [Force Emission] released the attack back, through any part of the Mech Suit the user willed it to.
__________Jayden finished his daily tasks and walked with Nate and Knell to the cafeteria. The Lana twins joined them on their way and they chatted about random stuffs.
On getting to the cafeteria, they saw Derrick and his teammates sitting idly at a table, conversing.
Jayden calmed his raging heart and used his head, if he attacked him, then no one will blame Derrick if he beat him up publicly. Though he was stronger than Derrick, no one knew that and he wanted it to remain that way until he revealed to the whole world, his real strength.
Jayden's friends controlled their anger towards Derrick and his team and walked to the chefs to get their lunch.
Auntie Martha served them after giving some funny remarks that made their mood lighten up ever so slightly.
They sat around an empty table and began to talk amongst themselves, they constantly saw Derrick glance at them before immediately looking away, Derrick and his team had a look of horror when they first looked at them, but they soon began to laugh. They all knew that his gaze was on Jayden and no one else.
They didn't know why he was laughing, but they knew that it was no good. His left eye which was replaced with a robotic one glowed with a blue light, and several body parts that had been replaced with machines reminded them of a character in certain movie.
The Bion 1.0 was a new model of Mech Suit that integrated with the users body, almost as if there was a fusion of some sort. Their body was no longer normal after the Bion 1.0 had been used on them, they were bound to loose some things, but at the exchange of immense power.
The Bion 1.0 was a Mech Suit that only the wealthy could afford. And Derrick's family were certainly very rich. They owned a shipping company that transfered solely Mech Suits from one country to another. They excelled in the business because their cargos were rarely attacked, the reason because of their personal guards.Their personal guards were given the best of the best Mech Suits to use, there was even a rumor that their Elite Squads all used Bion 1.0 to guard their cargos against rogues and they were given the order to torture and kill anyone who dared step on their ships without their permission.
This order that everyone knew about, made any rogue who had any funny ideas about their cargo, snuff it out immediately.
Jayden and his friends spent the rest of the day having fun, before dispersing to their various rooms.
