Jayden stared at the large building that towered above every other structure. It's black stone like body reflected the sunlight and drew the attention of those around.
The edges of the building had carvings that resembled waves rising and falling. There were no visible windows anywhere except a door with a sign above it that said.
[Entry Point No 504]
There were exactly seven hundred entry points into the arena, and this was one of the numerous doors.
The building stretched for as far as the eyes could see and acted as a wall blocking people from entering the Arena unless they used one of the entry points, the planet was shaped like a half dome and the Arena was on the flat side of the planet, which made it easy for spectators and players to see each other in there.
Jayden joined a queue that numbered in the fifties with the races all lined up. It seemed like the denizens of the planet where the Beast Kins, Warborn Golem Centaurs, Ustapians, Zanarians and Brazen Cyclops. Jayden assumed that since out of the ten races participating in the Interstellar Tournament and only five could be seen here, it meant that they were in their respective residents, preparing mentally for the event.
Jayden was the only odd one out of the sea of monstrosities, the Ustapians who had looks that greatly made them look human, was Jaydens only saving grace. Why? That's because if he was spoted by the human authorities, he will be taken into custody and questioned about how he was able to leave the hotel, it was a normal thing for a random student to have a skill that released energy, but it wasn't if the energy released was as pure as Sir Julius'. Even the students of the Blessed Angels House's skill, was not as pure as their House master's.
Jayden was definitely not going to have it easy if he was found out, so without any second thought, he activated the Rogue Suit.
Those around stared in amazement at the display, the final form of the Rogue Suit was captivating, Jayden's purple eyes drew them in and they found themselves gawking at him. Those who were able to resist Jaydens charm, looked away, while others took some more time to get themselves together.
Jayden joined the queue and waited his turn, while waiting, he kept trying to control the Rogue Suit, it was useless if he couldn't anyways.
It wasn't easy at first, but he soon got the hang of it. Being a fast learner, he easily picked up the different ways he could manipulate the suit, he treated it like a limb that he was learning to use. He controlled the Suit, morphing it into several shapes ranging from weapons, to basic stuffs.
After what felt like an eternity to Jayden, it got to his turn, he walked through the door and was welcomed by the sight of several testing areas, there was an area that had Cyclops punching a metal slab. Making it bend in an awkward way and wrapping around their arm like a gauntlet.
Another area was filled with a track and obstacles placed at random intervals, the Ustapians were running on it with agility and dexterity that surpassed any races standards.
The Zanarians were aiming at a board and trying to hit it with a green ball of aura and performed several other actions with a green aura that expanded from their body.
The Warborn Golem Centaurs charged through a sea of AI dummies, destroying them with precise aims of their earth spikes, or their heavy armoured fists.
And lastly, the Beast kins, there were Rat Kins, Lion Kins, Wolf Kins, Bear Kins, Tiger Kins, Snake Kins, Lizard Kins and the list goes on and on, performing different actions in their own area.
Jayden looked small when compared with all the rest, but he seemed unfazed, he was going to demolish anyone who stood in his way.
He looked around, wanting to ask others for directions since he didn't know what the FUCK was going on, but when he approached anyone, he received gazes filled with disgust and anger while some outright ignored him or walked away rudely, he didn't understand what was going on with them, they seemed to be having a bad day and were taking out their anger on him.
Jayden stood there helpless not knowing what to do until Nahshon helped him out.
[Just head into any area, I will tell you what to do from there]
Surprised and happy, Jayden walked into an area that was empty, thiry by thirty by thirty was the space of the room.
Immediately, a hologram popped up in Jayden's face.
<Welcome Human, To The Testing Room>
<Will You Like To Take The Entrance Test?>
<YES|-|NO>Jayden clicked YES without hesitation. The scene around him began to change, a track appeared before him, spanning for close to two kilometers, it wasn't straight, but had weird curves and bends that made it hard to use ones full speed to cross the distance.
The creation didn't end there, large boulders began to appear on the track, it made it even more hard to move at a fast pace but Jayden didn't think too much about it and prepared himself for the race.
<THE DESOLATE LANE>
<Reach the end of the track at the designated time to pass the test>
<You are allowed to use any means necessary>Jayden spread his foots apart, his right leg ahead of his left leg by a large margin, while a countdown manifested by the side of his vision.
<T- 3 Seconds>
3, 2, 1... GO!!
Jayden kicked off the ground and ran ahead, his feets sounding like a drill as he smashed them on the ground to accelerate.
Soon he got to the first boulder, he studied it for a split second and looked for the opening to get around it.
Jayden frowned, if he took the path, his speed would be reduced greatly, which would delay him by a second or two before he reached his full speed again, it might not seem like much, but by the time he gets delayed by two seconds for each boulder blocking his way, it'll be a big problem.
The cogs in Jaydens mind rattled, searching for an answer, he suddenly remembered Draven's fight with the Spider in the cave on Planet Euphoria, the spider was able to gain a stable footing by using it's sharp legs to pierce the ground.
Jayden smiled foolishly to himself and manifested spider like limbs from his back.
"Time to test this babies."
