Jayden's bruised and battered body was glowing immensely, a shockwave of energy had pushed back the Minotaurs, they had made several holes in the walls behind them which looked like it was going to collapse at any moment.
Jayden didn't notice this, he was in a different state, all his wounds where healing rapidly, his mind was calm and his soul felt like it was being massaged.
Jayden didn't know what was happening, but he loved it and didn't want that feeling to go away, he wanted it to last forever. He moaned with pleasure, it could have looked weird, but there was no one there to see it.
He moaned for several minutes before he started to feel the energy slowly fading away.
"No!! Stay!!" Jayden shouted out. He had no control over the energy and could only watch as it faded away into nothingness.
As Jayden regained clarity, he looked around and immediately noticed the collapsing pagoda, he wasted no time and jumped through a hole in the wall, he had miscalculated and jumped too far, he ended up falling from the seven layered pagoda, he landed with a roll some parts of his already worn out Mech Suit coming off, he had no time to worry about it and ran without looking back.
"I've been running a lot lately." Jayden didnt know how that thought popped up in his mind, he chuckled lightly and thought.
'I can't believe I can still joke in this kind of situation. A friggin building is collapsing behind you Jayden!! Have you lost your mind?!!'
The ground quaked violently with the collapse of the building, dust and rubble was everywhere, his Mech Suits night vision barely functioned at that moment, everywhere was dark and he needed a place to rest and process everything that just happened.
Looking around him Jayden noticed that there was nothing In his surroundings as far as he could see, the only thing in sight was the collapsed pagoda and the rough ground.
Without warning, an interface popped up in the periphery of his vision.
[Be at least 500,000 Kilometers away from the nearest Z Mech Suit]
[Be the weakest of the Z Mech Suit users]
[Host should be willing to destroy the Z Organization]
[Requirements to activate the Rogue System has been met]
[Would host like to activate]
[YES] - [NO]
"What the hell!!" Jayden was startled, he didn't know where all this notifications suddenly came from.
"Jarvis. What's this."
[I am to low leveled to know that Sir]
"Wait, the Z Organization? isn't that the company my 'father' started."
"What are you Rogue System?"
[Host should activate the Rogue System to get answers]
"I don't even know what you are, why should I trust you?"
[....]
Jayden didn't get an answer to his question and got pissed off, he thought thoroughly before chosing carefully.
"There's no harm in trying anyway, Yes, I'll like to activate the...what was it again?"
[Loading...]
[Loading completed]
[Rogue System Activated]
As soon as Jayden mentally clicked [YES] a purple light enveloped him. He felt a soothing feeling course through him, he felt all the tension in his body get released but just as immediately as the feeling came it disappeared and was replaced with a mind splitting pain. Jayden fell to his knees and groaned in pain. The pain was worse than when he broke his limbs and crashed in the pagoda.
After ten minutes that felt like hours, the pain subsided and everything returned to normal.
Jayden was sweating profusely and panting hard, his back was drenched in cold sweat and dripping off his body like he just took a bath in a pool.
[Host is in pain]
[Would the host like to use the Creation Orb to sooth hosts pain]
"Yes." Jayden replied absentmindedly. A soothing feeling spread out from his chest and he began to calm down, after ten minutes of rest, Jayden was able to move and think properly.
"Okay, Now tell me. What are you Rogue System? you better be something good!!"
[The Rogue System is an AI from the future sent to the past to eliminate their greatest nemesis before they can become what they are in the future]
"....." Jayden was at loss for words.
"An AI from the future? Is time traveling even possible? Why me of all people? It said something about me being the weakest of Z Mech Suit users. How did it know that? Is it even true?" Question after question flowed into his mind.
[Yes, I'm an AI from the future]
[Time travel isn't possible for humans yet, but it is for inanimate objects]
[And yes you are the weakest, I searched through the WebSpace to get all the data I can about Z Mech Suit users and found you]
"This is too much to handle. What is your full goal? And did you actually go through the WebSpace, as in, the whole WebSpace?"
[My true goal is to strengthen the host as much as possible to defeat the Z Organization while they are still in their early phase]
[And it is true, I went through the whole WebSpace to gather information]
"Cool. Ok then, I think I got a little gist of what you are and what you want, I'll ask some questions when I remember them cos my head is too full right now."
[For the host to get strong, you will need a new Mech Suit]
"How I'm I going to get one? I cant even leave this place." Jayden said and looked around depressed.
[I can make a Mech Suit that will be perfect for our cause]
"You can? well that's great. But...
[I can also help host get out of this place]
[It is just a hundred meter height that can be scaled easily]
"Hundred meters!! it felt like I was falling for weeks without stop." Jayden said with shock.
[That is a feature of the Devil's Abode]
[It contains hallucinogen naturally generated to ward off those who try to get to the Creation Orb]
"Why would they try to get this 'Creation Orb' whatever that is. Is it so important?"
[A Creation Orb is an Energy Orb that has the power to create beasts]
[Creation Orbs are made for that particular purpose but humans have found other ways to make use of them in the future where I come from]
"Do you know the uses?"
[Yes]
"Ok, let's find this Orb and make good use of it." Jayden said rubbing his palms together.
