The spider limbs that Nahshon had shown him previously, was put to use.
Jayden struck the ground with the four limbs, easily digging into the hard ground and destroying it, but gaining a stable footing. He used them to push his body in the direction of the only path, allowing him to reach it in no time without losing his speed, he did the same thing to evade another boulder in his way and got back to the track. Seeing how easy it was, Jayden grinned and ran ahead.
An Ustapian that had decided to watch Jayden fail miserably so as to get the chance to mock him when he gets out, was sfunned into silence.
"Tanackat." Another Ustapian by his side noticed his stunned friends gaze and traced it to its origin, He was just as shocked when he saw Jayden using the spider limbs to propel himself over a boulder that would have taken him more time if he used the path around it.
Jayden used the limbs to make sharp turns, jump and sometimes even hop from boulder to boulder if they were close to eachother.
This test looked like a playground to Jayden from the spectators point of view, the Ustapians who were proud of their speed and dexterity were gobsmacked, they realised that they weren't the only race with superb speed and dexterity.
Unlike what everyone thought, they weren't shocked by the the way Jayden manovoured the boulders, it was his speed. His speed was almost as good as theirs, making him give them a challenge in a straight out race without obstacles. His dexterity meanwhile was due to his spider limbs.
Jayden, ignorant about the waves of shock spreading through the building due to him, reached the end of the track.
<Time Limit- 2 Minutes 30 Seconds>
<Time Taken- 1 Minute 5 seconds>Jayden sighed and congratulated himself mentally, the hologram changed showing the next test.
<STRENGTH OF TEN MEN>
<Hit the Metal surface and reach the 6000 Mark to pass the test>
<You are allowed to use any means necessary>Jayden pondered about how he was going to pass this, he didn't think long before finding an answer and the Rogue Suit began to morph.
Jayden remembered that he could turn his rogue Suit into weapons, and what was the best weapon for hitting hard. A WAR HAMMER!!!
Jayden's hands began to elongate and take the shape of two hammers. They solidified with purple technological veins running over it, if it wasn't for Jayden not having a skill or technique that could be used on weapons like this, Jayden would no doubt use it to boost his strength further.
Jayden looked at his hands and nodded in satisfaction, but then he frowned.
"I doubt I'll have a chance to hit twice." Jayden said. "The Cyclops hit the metal surface once before going to the next test. So I have only one chance."
Jayden then moved back and prepared for a charge, he let his two hammer hands be at the side before he blasted off the ground with the help of the spider limbs.
Jayden left an after image behind him and reached the metal plate in no time.
Jayden reached three meters from the metal plate, he spun once and raised the two hammers to generate more force using his momentum, as Jayden was completeing his spin, the hammers collided mid air and merged into one large hammer with its cylindrical head one and a half meter wide and a diameter of one meter.
Jayden may not have a proper hammer technique, but he was still able to channel energy into the hammer head making it glow with vibrant purple light.
The hammer made contact with the metal surface and a bang that sounded like a nuclear bomb went off, was head, the wind raised from the swing and the wind from the collision ravaged his surroundings, though there was nothing there to guage the amount of destruction the wind caused, this made Jayden click his tongue in annoyance.
This was why he didn't like practing his skills in the Void Space.
Jayden glanced at the metal plate, and just like when the Cyclops or Warborn Golem Centaurs punched it, it caved in but didn't move from its suspended position mid air.
Jayden waited for some seconds before a number was displayed in the air.
<Required Strength- 6000>
<Shown Strength- 11000>Jayden didn't feel as elated as any normal person supposed to, he didn't know how to guage his strength properly, the hologram just showed numbers but not any unit by its side, so he wasn't able to compare his strength to that of other earthlings. He sighed and moved on to the next test.
Outside the room, eveyone stared through the transparent wall seperating them from Jayden, and then stared at their hologram that barely made it past the required 6000.
Just like the Ustapians, the Cyclops' pride had been knocked to the ground brutally and given a good beating.
'How could this tiny being be this strong?!!' Those were the Cyclops' thoughts.
'How could this short legged dwarf be so fast?!!' And those were the Ustapians' thoughts.
Jayden waited for the next test to upload. The area around him changed once again, there rows and rows of AI dummies standing.
<INFINITE SIEGE>
<Destroy as many dummies as possible before the time runs out>
<You are allowed to use any means necessary>Jayden thinking quickly since the count down had already started, made the spider limbs on his back turn flat and extremely sharp, it took his concentration to make that happen, but after that, it was easy to maintain it. Jayden without wasting any time, ran and dived into the ranks of the mindless dummies, they might be called AI because they could be controlled with the help of AI's, but right now, they were nothing but empty husks.
Jayden's bladed limbs sliced the dummies cleanly with a bit of energy added to them and he didn't slow down his charge but just kept moving and letting the blades jutting out of his back do the job.
TEN MINUTES LATER
Jayden sat on the ground out of breath, he had ran non stop for ten minutes, but calculating and adding up all the energy he had spent since the start, he was getting fatigued.
Just one more test was left before he would be given a chance to register for the tournament.
Glancing at the area reforming into a shooting range, Jayden hung his head while searching through his mind for a way to pass the test.
He didn't have a skill to attack from a distance, but he's was going to find a way, he was going to bring down anything thay stood in his way. Literally. And this was just the beginning.
Jayden sat on the spot for a minute, he stood up and began to shape the Rogue Suit one more time.
[What do you have in mind?]
Jayden stood in silence not replying immediately.
"Nothing much...
... Just a new combination."
