Your alarm rings at half past five in the morning. You rub your eyes before you reach for it. You wish you could sleep more but you want to wake up early. With Jungkook you wouldn't have cared much but his family is there and you treat these things as very important.

"5:30 in the morning. Couldn't you wake up more early?" Jungkook says in his hoarse morning half sleepy voice.

"Oh my god do your parents wake up even earlier?" You ask scared if you are late instead of early.

"No silly they don't wake until at least an hour more," he says.

"That gives me the perfect amount of time to cook breakfast," you say happily. Proud of your assumption skills about when his parents wake up and eat breakfast.

"Now let me sleep."

"I didn't tell you to wake up," you defend yourself but then leave him alone as you would only disrupt his sleep more.

You gather your things from your bag and go to the bathroom to get a shower.

Time seems to speed up when you start preparing breakfast. After a few minutes Jungkook comes yawning to the kitchen.

"Thought you wanted to sleep," you say.

"Your alarm woke me and I couldn't go back to sleep," he says before he pours water down his throat.

"You need help?" He asks. For once he acts politely with you.

"I don't need you to spoil everything," you say assuming he wouldn't be of much help.

"Excuse me, I know how to cook very well. Who do you think feeds me?" He says.

"But now I'm here. And I want to make breakfast for our family. It's my way of showing love," you reply.

Hyewon enters the kitchen and looks at both of you with wide eyes.

"Jungkook, are you making her cook? How brutal are you? The girl just had her wedding not even 24 hours ago and I'm sure you made her more than tired in the night and you're making her cook," she scolds him and he keeps trying to speak but then gives up.

"He didn't say anything. I wanted to cook breakfast for y'all," you tell her.

"I'll finish here. You go rest. Eomma will kill me if she hears I didn't stop you. You guys have a flight tomorrow morning, save your energy for that," She says pushing you away from the counter.

"What flight?" Jungkook says confused.

"Didn't you open our gift? Me and Namjoon gifted you both a trip to Jeju," she says then hits her face with her palm for not thinking of her brother's stupidity.

"I thought it was money inside that envelope," Jungkook says.

"Oh god I can't deal with you, seriously just go away," she stops looking at him and checks what was already prepared.

"Hyewon it's fine I can..." you try to stop her from cooking.

"Jungkook take her away," she orders him.

Jungkook holds your hand and tries to drag you away but you free yourself as his hold was loose and try with Hyewon again.

Hyewon gives a scary look to Jungkook and left with no other choice he picks you up.

You can't believe how effortlessly he carries you in his arms. You shout his name at first in shock but then you remember your in laws are sitting in the living room just a few meters away.

He walks with you in his arms staring at him.

Your eyes meet his parents sitting on the sofa. What a way to greet them in the morning.
