It was just another weekend morning for Jungkook when he wanted to laze around after a tiresome week.

"Jungkook... Jungkook wake up!" Sooji shook him while he resisted her.

"It's urgent!" She shouted at him and he stood up on his feet at once.

"What's wrong baby," he asked cupping her face with his palms.

"I fucked up," Sooji started to cry.

"Can you please tell me what is it?" Jungkook asked. His own heart started beating faster. He couldn't understand what had gone wrong.

She showed him the phone screen. Which showed a big red exclamatory mark with a warning in capital letters that she was 9 days late.

"Oh," Jungkook said before he hugged her.

"I'm so sorry Jungkook," she cried hugging him even tighter.

"What. No!" He shook his head and asked her to not take the blame.

"Have you even taken a test?" He asked.

"Not yet," she said. "But 9 days late is pretty much confirmation in itself," she told him.

"Let's get a lab test. Okay?" He asked trying to calm her down.

At the doctor's clinic they ran some blood tests and an ultrasound. After asking her some questions the doctor doubted if it was pregnancy or something else.

Jungkook and Sooji didn't care about it much thinking those were the tests done to confirm a pregnancy. They didn't even search about it.

Jungkook just took her home and tried to keep her mind away from those thoughts.

The next morning Sooji left for the hospital before Jungkook even woke up. He had spent the night awake in stress so he didn't realize.

She waited at the hospital for her reports and went to the doctor as soon as he arrived unable to look at the report herself.

They wanted to wait a couple years before marriage and many more years to start a family. She couldn't imagine becoming a mother at that time of her life. She was happy with Jungkook. She didn't feel the need of anyone else.

Her and Jungkook had created a beautiful life together for themselves. Their friends would envy them for their unwavering loyalty towards each other.

The news the doctor gave her wasn't something she could've ever expected.

She called Jungkook and asked him to rush to the hospital as quickly as possible.

He found her sitting numb, her face had gone colorless, he could sense something had gone very wrong.

He knew she hated it when things didn't go as planned.

"Sooji," he sat down beside her and caressed her shoulders.

"Honey, it's okay if you're pregnant. We'll figure it out together. It's our child. We're mature enough to raise a child together. And if you really don't want it. We can arrange that too," Jungkook spoke when she suddenly put the reports in front of her.
