You try to put off Ryuwon's words from your mind. You understand what she was hinting at but it was a very vague assumption on her part. She might be smart, studying for medical school but she can't just predict something like that.

You have noticed certain things too but they can easily be a sign of your period coming. And your period has only been three days late, anything below fifteen days is normal for you. Your cycle keeps getting hiccups once in a while. It varies from cycle to cycle. It often comes a couple days later than it's supposed to.

Now that you do the calculations, you were on high risk the day Jungkook came to your office and you two ended up having unprotected sex. You were so carried away by emotions and excited upon seeing him after so many days and the sex was so good and intense, it never occurred to you that you did it all as if your actions posed no risks.

When you actually did realise after a few days, it was too late for an after morning, and you told yourself it wouldn't happen in just one night. Your life isn't a movie. And your cycles can be unpredictable so who knows if that time actually was risky or not.

"Hey, what's wrong, love." Jungkook asks wrapping his arm around your waist.

"Nothing," you shake your head.

"Eomma don't force her to eat," Jungkook goes to rescue Hyewon who is getting veggies stuffed into her mouth by her mother.

"You have made my life hell," Ryuwon says as she walks towards you, fuming.

"Excuse me," you keep your distance from her.

She pulls you along with her to the balcony to talk, "Why did you have to marry my brother so easily? Who marries someone after knowing them for just six months? All my parents do is give me your example, oh look at her she's an independent woman she dated your brother for marriage, she even runs her own business. Hyewon's pregnant and now you, and they're forcing me to meet this guy and get engaged."

"Calm down," you tell her.

"Look I'm asexual, and I can't really tell them. You know how they are. I still need their help for med school. I just can't get married to this guy he's a total-" she shows you a picture on her phone.

"Oh lord," you remark. The guy absolutely doesn't seems like someone who belongs with a girl like Ryuwon. You don't get how her parents can't see it.

"Gimme that phone," you take her phone and go to Mrs Jeon.

"Eommoni, I heard you want Ryuwon to see this guy. I don't think this would be the right match for her. Our Ryuwon is naive and he looks like someone who won't be as serious about her," you continue to try and convince them that the guy isn't right for Ryuwon by giving them ten different reasons. Your father in law stands beside and listens too. He says he knew it but his wife was adamant on making Ryuwon meet that guy.

You go back to Ryuwon with a grin on your face. She thanks you then hugs you. Turns out she was only bitter because of her parents behavior. Personally she had no reason to behave like that with you. She sincerely apologises.

She watches you try and pick up a chocolate from the jar on Hyewon's dining table but then Namjoon's sister suddenly turns towards you and you make conversation.

Jungkook asks if you want to leave as he's tired. You agree and leave after wishing everyone a good night.

"Jungkook can you stop by a pharmacy? I'm not feeling very well and I'm out of cramp relief medicine," you tell him.

You hate lying to him like this but you don't wanna scare him in case it's nothing. You know he isn't exactly ready for this yet. He has always talked about kids in context with the future. He has goals to check off before he's ready to plan a baby with you.

"What's the name? I'll go buy it," he says.

"I'd like to go and buy it myself," you say.

"Alright," he doesn't makes a big deal out of it although he does finds it fishy.

You buy a test kit from the pharmacy along with some pads and tampons to hide it underneath.

As soon as you reach home, you rush to the bathroom. You take the kit out and read the instructions. You don't have a cup inside the bathroom so you decide to just put it directly under the stream. Then you don't know if you should be taking it at night. You do a quick Google search and it says you should do it in the morning. But it might kill you to wait until the morning. You need to know it now, whatever it is.

Before even ten seconds pass by after taking the test, Jungkook knocks rampantly on the door.

"Babe can you get out if you're done? You can remove your makeup outside. I really need to use the toilet," he shouts.

With the intent of avoiding anything that might embarass him, you get out of the bathroom after hiding the remaining test strips in the empty trash can under the garbage bag to hide it completely.

When you sit on the couch, the doorbell rings. It's a delivery person but you two haven't ordered anything. He says it's from Jeon Ryuwon. So you accept it.

It's five different types of chocolate boxes with a note that says "Enjoy Mama. From Auntie Ryuwon." You try to take it off before Jungkook sees it but it doesn't comes off.

Your timer set for five minutes goes off so you rush to see the test results first.

Inside the bathroom, Jungkook knocks over the trash can. The garbage bag being empty comes off from the sides and the test kit falls out. It raises his suspicions about what is hidden underneath the garbage bag like this. And he picks up the box checks that it says it contains three but it's open and there are only two inside.

He comes out with quick steps.
"Did you take a pregnancy test?" He asks but he's met with the sight of you sitting on the couch staring at the test that has two dark lines on it. He just read on the box what it means. He watches your tears fall on your lap. Your eyes don't move from the strip in your hand.

His eyes move to the table where the boxes of chocolates lie with the note standing out.

"Ryuwon got to know before me?" He questions angrily.
