Leo Carson.

Chiara is dating Leo Carson.

A scowl has been permanently stuck to my face since I heard the news - although I can't explain why, I've barely spoken to the girl since she joined the school.

But fuck, Leo Carson, really?

And there they are, right fucking now, in the hallways walking together.

"It's grim, right?" Noah stands next to me with a matching scowl.

"What is?" I try to act unaware.

"Them," he particularly eyes Leo in disgust, "should've told Giovanni to give her a dating ban until her fourties at the earliest."

"Right," I snort.

"How did they even get together," he wonders with a tilt of his head, his eyes still watching the 'couple'.

I also look over at them again.

"I wouldn't even know," I shrug, "last week I overheard her and Florence in the corridor talking about him - something about hearing that he had a thing for her."

"Huh," he glances over at me, "still so grim."

"Be supportive," I shove his shoulder with my own.

I should take my own advice.

She's smiling, looking up at him.

He says something, her mouth flies open in shock and she pushes him away slightly.

Laughing.

I can hear it from where I'm still standing.

Still watching.

Fuck.

It just had to be him. Didn't it?

Making her laugh; making her blush; making her smile.

Maybe I can just punch him.

Florence approaches them and Chiara's attention is focused on her friend as she talks, however I notice how Leo's never leaves her.

The same way mine hasn't since that damn party.

Wearing that black lace top with black jeans that sat low around her waist, her hair and makeup done to perfection; it'd been difficult not to have my attention on her.

Drunk, ranting about accents - yet I still listened to every word she said - messy curls flying about yet looking stunning, green eyes framed with black eyeliner. Ethereal.

I slam my locker shut and turn away from the happy couple.

Leo's nice.

He's funny. He treats me well - that's important - he compliments me a lot, he's polite and he gets on well with my friends, although Archie still seems uncertain.

Like Florence said about him the other day, he's not the most intellectual. And in no way am I saying that I need my boyfriend to be the smartest man in the room, but it would be nice to have some conversations that don't only involve football, sports, football, sex and, oh yeah, football.

"Goodbye, babe," he pulls me towards him with his hands on my waist, "huh," he looks down to where his hands are, "you look thinner than what you actually are."

Okay, so mabye I lied just a little bit, Leo isn't the most polite.

I give him a tight smile while my heart starts pounding inside my chest. Fuck. Fuck. Fuck.

He smirks and leans down to kiss me.

I've never been too keen on obvious PDA, I'd always opt for more subtle acts of affection whilst outside. Leo, however, isn't a fan of that.

It's no wonder how he gained such popularity in our school - his confidence could get him anywhere.

I watch him walk towards his car, heaving a heavy sigh. I cross my arms over my waist and make my way towards Noah.

"Everything okay?" He asks as we head over to Giovanni's car.

"Yep," I nod my head and don't look at him.

The car ride home is mainly silence, Giovanni is obviously distracted by something as well.

I just sit in the back of the car aimlessly scrolling on my phone.

As soon as we're home, I jump out of the car and run up the stairs to my bedroom.

I lock myself in the bathroom and stare at the toilet, hating myself for what I'm about to do.

Fuck.
