"What does your hair look like straight?" Leo asks as we sit on a bench outside during lunch.

He asked me to spend lunch with him and I'd agreed to.

"I'd say it looks quite nice. I'll show you," I bring my phone out of my pocket and show him a photo Emilio took of me in Ventimiglia with straight hair.

"You look so pretty," he takes my phone and looks at the photos.

"Thank you," I blush.

"Can you straighten your hair soon?" He looks up and passes my phone back to me.

"I guess I can straighten it tomorrow," I shrug, today is a hair wash day, anyways.

Lunch ends whilst Leo and I are still talking about various things. I chose not to get food for lunch today, as I ate this morning.

"There's a party tomorrow, I told my friends we'd go," he puts his arm around my shoulders whilst we walk inside.

Friday is usually my designated nap day.

"Yeah, that's fine," I nod at him.

"Okay, good. Dress up, babe," he gives me a kiss before heading off to his English class and I go to my biology lesson.

Biology is great - not the actual lesson, although I am good at that, in biology I have Florence and Noah's whole friend group.

When I get to the class, it seems like I'm the last person there so I head over to my seat next to Noah.

He practically begged to be sat next to me and not Archie.

Archie also begged not to be sat next to him.

"You okay, sorellina?" he glances over once I've put my bag down and taken a seat.

"Yeah, I'm good, you?" I look over at him.

"I'm good. I didn't see you in the cafeteria, where were you?"

"Oh, Leo and I sat outside on a bench."

"Alright. You had something to eat, right?"

I steel myself and force myself not to look away from his eyes, "yeah I got myself some food."

He looks genuinely happy and my heart sinks, "good good."

"Moretti's, please stop talking," Mr. Garland stops teaching.

"Sorry," Noah shouts.

"Shut up," I mutter as I feel my cheeks flame due to everyone looking over.

Mr. Garland just rolls his eyes and continues teaching about genetics.

The lesson couldn't have ended sooner and after a maths lesson where I mostly spoke with Florence, the school day was finally over.

I waited for Noah before going to the car park, only we couldn't find Giovanni's car.
