Usually, I'd be pissed off at having to leave the house to do something for someone else. For example, walking Chiara's dog.

However, it's also an excuse to get out of the house and meet someone without suspicion from my twin.

Last time when I told him I was meeting a friend he said, and I quote, 'I'm your only friend, what the fuck.'

I get to a park and unclip Roland's lead, sitting down on a bench and pulling my phone out as he runs wild across the grass.

I keep the message open, expecting a quick reply until hands are covering my eyes.

"Guess who," he says.

"Corny ass," I snort, turning around and seeing my boyfriend.

Keiran grins and rounds the bench, taking a seat next to me.

"How have you been?" He takes my hand in his.

"I've been good," I smile genuinely.

"Where's Roland? I want to meet him," Keiran turns and looks at the field.

The dog himself comes sprinting over, a stick in his mouth.

"Hey," Keiran laughs when Roland comes right up to him.

"Roland, sit," I tell him, he complies and sits down, tail wagging.

I take the stick from his mouth and chuck it far away for him to chase.

"You okay?" I turn to Keiran.

"I'm good," he smiles, "got something for you," he brings out a redbull from his jacket pocket.

"God, you're the best," I grin, and crack the can open.

We share the drink and Roland comes back numerous times for one of us to chuck his stick.

"What do you want for your birthday? It's soon," he asks.

I shrug, "nothing in particular."

Time passes too quickly as we sit talking and Keiran had to go back home.

"Goodbye," I kiss him.

"I'll see you soon," he steps back from me with a grin.

I clip Roland's lead back onto him, "so what did you think, huh? You like him?"
