Chapter 5-FBI

(Lucy's gonna have a brother that's in the fbi, let's just call him Jason and only Zoe and Jackson know about him.)

I was dreading getting up today, I was really exhausted. It's hard to raise a toddler by yourself but it's worth it. I get up and get dressed before making Eliza's breakfast. I decided to cook her waffles and eggs. Once I'm done cooking I get her clothes out and she eats. Since her hair is already done we got out the door quicker than usual.

Once I got to the station I went to go change because I looked a hot mess. While I was changing Angela came in the changing rooms and saw a big bruise on my hip. Lucy what happened are you okay, she says while rubbing over my the bruise. At first I'm a little shocked because of the touch, nothing happened it's a permanent bruise for my child hood, I say. I'm so sorry that happened to you Lucy, she says while pulling her hand away. It's the past and the past stays in the past, I say while putting my shirt on. I'm always here if you want to talk, she says. I'll keep that in mind,I say while smiling. We both head out the locker rooms with a smile.

Grey had everyone in the locker room because we had a big case we needed to crack even Zoe was in her the captain, so it was a big case. Grey gets interrupted by someone knocking on the door. It was Adam and Percy the captain of the FBI and captain of IA.Hey sarge can I borrow Lucy for a minute, Adam says. Yea go ahead, Grey says. I look at Adam with a confused look and then Jackson and now back at Zoe. I start walking out but I decide to wave Zoe and Jackson over and they follow me out. When we leave a lot of officers start whispering about what's happened. What the hell does Chen have to do with the FBI and IA,Tim says. Yea and why did she tell Jackson and the captain to come, Isabel says. We'll figure that out later now let's get back to work, Grey says. Angela and Nyla look out the window with a concern look on their face and I make eye contact with them.

We're outside in the hallway when Adam says the news I never wanted to hear. Lucy I'm so sorry for your loss, Jason was killed this morning. I about to lose my balance at the words I just heard I reached out and grabbed Zoe's hand and she takes her hand in my hand and squeezes it. H-How did he die, I say while tears are coming heavily down my face. Lucy I don't think you want to know, Percy says. ¿Cómo diablos murió Adam?( HOW THE HELL DID HE DIE ADAM), I yell. Making people look over at us. Se enteraron de que estaba encubierto y lo ejecutaron. Le cortaron la cabeza a Lucy. (They found out he was undercover and they cut his head off Lucy), Adam said. I broke down crying and started having a panic attack Zoe saw it and started taking me to the locker room. Stay here and don't leave just in case she wants to ask questions. Before we leave Jackson comes over to me and we both hug while tears are streaming down our faces. Jackson was always close to Jason they were like best friends and Jackson always look up to Jason. Me and Jackson put out forehands against each other, we'll get through this, I whispered.  I know we will Luce go calm down I'll see you in a little bit, he says while wiping the tears off my face. I wipe the tears off his face and I head to the locker room.

When me and Zoe get in the locker room I start pacing back and forth. How am I supposed to tell Eliza, I say with a shaky voice. Zoe comes over and hugs me, listen you'll figure it out okay I'm here with you through all of it. Thanks I gotta ask Adam some questions. Me and Zoe head out the locker room.

3rd person POV

Jackson must know what happened because he's crying to so it must have hit close to home-Angela thinks. When Jackson comes back in the room Adam and Percy follow him but Jackson just goes to a table and puts his head down. Something bad happened-Nyla thinks. Is anybody gonna tell us what the hell is going on-Tim says. Not our place-Adam says. Just then Lucy and Zoe walks back in the room, Lucy's eyes are red and puffy you can tell she's been crying.

Lucy's POV

I already know my eyes are puffy and red because everyone is staring at me when I walk back into the roll call. ¿Puedo conseguir las llaves de su casillero?( can I get the keys to his locker), I ask Adam. ¿Estás seguro de que te traerá muchos recuerdos? (Are you sure it'll bring back a lot of memories), he says. ¿Hablas en serio, Adam? Conozco los recuerdos que traerá de vuelta. Está muerto, tengo que enfrentarlo en algún momento. ¿Ya se lo has dicho a mi madre?( Are you fucking serious Adam I know the memories it'll bring back. Have you even told my mom yet.), I yell. No, pensé que dejaría que se lo dijeras(no I thought I would let you tell her), he says calmly. No, pensé que dejaría que se lo dijeras. (You expect me to tell my mother that her son, my brother at that is dead. Are you fucking stupid I can't tell her that Adam. She already fucking hates me and she'll try to blame me. You can tell her because it's your job too.), I tell tears coming in my eyes. Everyone is just standing there listening to me yell at the FBI CAPTAIN even tho only a few of them actually understand what's happening. Hell they probably expect me to lose my job after this. Muy bien, lo haré(Alright I will),he says. Adam just give me the keys, I say in a shaky voice. He tosses me the keys, if you want his file it's in my office you know where. I just nod my head. Can I have the rest of the day off, I ask Zoe looking her in the eyes. Yea I'll stop by later okay, she says while wiping the tears off my face that started to stream down my face. And you're not driving so Lopez drive Lucy to the FBI station and Jackson take the rest of today off and you both can have a few days if you want, Zoe says. I just nod and proceeded to walk out the door with Angela behind me.

3rd persons POV

Anybody wanna explain what just happened-Tim says, Back to work, Zoe says. Hold up so we're just gonna ignore the fact that she was just yelling at the FBI captain and nothing happened to her, you have a personal relationship with her and Jackson is involved in it, Nyla you speak Spanish what happened-Isabel says. Not my place to say- Nyla says. Back to work, Zoe yells.

Lucy's POV

While Angela was driving I was just looking out the window thinking about what I would find in his locker, our good childhood memories, the times he use to his the volleyball with me in the backyard, or when I would throw the football with him. Those were the only times I had a good childhood. But then the thought came in my head about I would tell Eliza. She wouldn't take it too good. My leg started to shake uncontrollably while tears started streaming down my face. I closed my eyes to forget about the thought but it didn't work. When I opened my eyes we were parked on the side of the road and Angela had gotten out of her car. She came to my side and pulled me into a tight hug and started rubbing my back. Let it out Luce, let out, she said. And that's what I did, I let it all out.

We eventually arrived at the FBI station. I went to Adam's office and grabbed Jason's case file then headed to his locker. I opened his locker and there wasn't much in there. There was a picture of him and friends, me and him as children, and me and him at our aunts wedding. I smiled looking at the pictures it reminded me of how great his life was once he got out of our toxic household. I found an extra uniform and then a matching bracelet with a necklace that me and him got together as kids. I'm surprised he kept it he always thought it was childish. I grabbed everything and headed back into the car where Angela was. Got everything, Angela asks me. Yea thanks, I say. No problem so im gonna pick up Eliza from school they still have about an hour in a half while I drop you off at home so you can get some rest okay, she tells me. I just nod my head, as she starts driving. When I get home I greet Kojo and put Jason's stuff on the counter. I make kojo some eggs while he eats I go and take a shower. I get out throw my hair in a bun without even brushing it and throw an oversized t-shirt on with some under wear. I just wanna sleep, just wanna forget this day even happened. Hell I wish it didn't happened. I grab Jason's stuff and put it on my desk. Then I climb into bed and cry myself to sleep while cuddling kojo.

Angela's POV

I pick up Jack and Eliza from school, Angela why isn't my mommy picking me up, Eliza asks. I pull the car over and turn around to face them. Okay kids listen, so Lucy had a bad day at work and she should be at home sleeping right now and her day is only going to continue to get worst. Eliza I can't tell you what happened your mom needs of be the one to tell you and me and Jack are going to be staying with you guys for a few days so I can help you mom out. Is Lucy gonna be okay, Jack asks. I hope so buddy. So we all need to be there to help Lucy when she needs us okay, I tell them. Okay they both say. We're gonna head to my house first so we can get me and Jack some clothes and then we'll go to Lucy's and Eliza's house.

When we get to the house I tell the kids to start their homework while I cook dinner. I go in the room to check on Lucy and see her snuggled up with kojo. Her eyes are puffy so I know she's been crying more. I walk over and place a kiss of her forehead and rubbing Kojo's head  before walking out. I cook the kids chicken tenders and macaroni. After they eat I give Eliza a bath first, I take her braids out and wash her hair before washing her up. I re braid her hair then I give Jack his bath I wash his hair then wash him up. I put there pajamas on before tucking them into bed. Goodnight kids love you, I say before kissing them on their forehead. Goodnight love you too, they say. I clean up the house then I take my shower and get in bed on the other end of Lucy and kojo before drifting off to sleep.
