Ang what time is everyone coming over again, I ask Angela while we're getting the kids ready. 8 I'm pretty sure, she says. Alright, kids put your shoes on, I yell. Me and Angela grab the rest of our stuff and we head out the door with the kids. After we drop Maddie off I decided to talk to Angela about something. Okay so I've been meaning to talk to you about something, I say. What's wrong, she says nervously. Nothing wrong, Ive just been think and I think it's time for me to adopt Maddie and I just wanted your opinion, I say. She takes my hand, I think it's a great idea and Maddie would love it, she says with a smile. I mean I would still have to ask her if she's okay with it and I still have to talk to Eliza but I think it'll end up good, I say. I'm sure it will baby, she says while kissing my hand and we head off into the station.
I was in greys office talking to him and Zoe about a case when I heard a voice that drained the color from my face. Sergeant Johnson. Zoe and Grey saw the change in my mood once he entered but only Zoe knew why. Morning captain and Sergeant, Johnson said. Nice to see you again Lucy, he said with a smile. Lucy go to my office and wait for me please, Zoe said with a concerned look on her face. I just nodded. As I was walking out he grabbed my wrist, can we catch up later, he said with a smile. Do not touch me, I said sternly and then I snatched my hand away from him and continued to walk away.
Zoe's POV
I would arrest that man right now if I could, I thought to myself. Hey can we help you, I say with an irritated voice. I need some help with a case that's connected to your station so I was hoping if I could borrow someone possibly Lucy, he says with a smile. She isn't available but I can get you someone else but as of right now I need to finish my conversation right here so wait at the front desk and I'll send someone up to you, I say. He just nodded and left. I closed the door and turned to grey, I do not want him near Lucy or alone with her, if he asks for her say she's not available understand, I say to grey sternly. Ok and may I know why, he asks confused. Not my play to say, I say. I walk out to the detectives to see most of the gang there(Angela, Nyla, Tim, Jackson, Nolan, Isabel). I need one of you to help Sergeant Johnson with a case, I say to the group. There's no way in hell I'm helping him, Jackson says. Isn't that the same sergeant that, Nyla says while looking at me and I just nod. I'm out, Nyla says. You can count me out too, has Lucy seen him, Angela asks irritated and cornered. Yes she's in my office you three go up there with her, I say. Alright so out of you three who's gonna help him, I say. Why do they get a free pass but we don't, Isabel asks. Yea and why can't Lucy help him it's her old sergeant, Tim says. And you didn't say anything to how they were talking to you so you know something we don't, Nolan says. Enough Bradford go to the front desk and help Johnson and don't ask him questions the rest of you get to work, I say annoyed while I walk to my office.
Lucy's POV
I go into Zoe office and start pacing back in forth with tears streaming down my face. About five minutes later Angela, Jackson, Nyla, and Zoe walk in. Angela comes over and hugs me, and I hug her back. Are you okay, she whispers, I don't know, I answer back. You will be I love you, Angela says. I love you too, I say back.. You okay, Nyla and Jackson asks me. I just nod. We're here for you okay, they say. Thanks, I whisper. You can have the rest of the day off if you want to, Zoe says. I'll leave once I'm done with my case I'll check in with you guys later,I say about to walk out the door. Luce let us know if he comes anywhere near you okay, Angela says. I just nod my head and walk out. I get my case I need and head into the break room to work on it hoping to not be seen.
Nylas POV
It's been about an hour in a half since we spoke to Lucy. I saw Tim talking to Johnson and then Johnson walking off. I just shook it off but about 3 minutes he didn't come back I went over to Tim. Tim what did you just talk to Johnson about, I ask him. Oh nothing he just wanted to know where Lucy was and I told him she was in the break room why, he asks. Shit Tim, I yell and start running to the break room with Tim right behind me.
