The same day Lev arrived, all of the DeMarco were captured, stuffed into a room where nothing but the concrete walls in front of them could be seen. The room so quiet, every single breath could be heard and echoed off the walls.
No matter how much I wanted to run home to Aria, sob and beg for her forgiveness, I need to make sure she is safe before she returns and with these people running around, she won't be.
Lev, Aless, Rafi, and I all walked in together. The DeMarco literally looked high. "Glad you could join the party," Francesco says. I roll my eyes.
"Oh trust us, the party has not begin yet," Lev taunts, taking his knife and spinning it with his fingers. His Russian accent is strong, his voice almost intimidating to any normal man.
We all take something from the table, then pick a DeMarco to start with. I walk up to Francesco. "I will start with you. My least favorite DeMarco," I say, a smirk reaching my face. The way I am extremely willing to annihilate this man is probably not healthy, but it all stems from the fact that once they are gone, Aria will be safer.
"Oh? And why is that?" he asks.
"You talk too much," with that, I plunge the knife into his stomach, making him groan. "You are such an annoying piece of shit." Another penetration to the gut which he does not take well. "I know it was you that pulled the final trigger that managed to kill my father." This one has him gasping for air. "And I know for a fact this it was you that had those surveillance pictures of Aria taken."
He coughs and groans through the pain, "Well, she is a gorgeous girl," he says, a stupid smile making its way to his face. I punched his stomach harshly, a loud cough coming out not a second later.
"If you speak about her again, you won't have the ability to speak anymore," I say, grabbing a taser from a table and continuing with Francesco.

A few hours later, we go home covered in blood. They're still alive, because unfortunately, we need them that way for now but as soon as we have figured everything else out, they'll be gone.
Aless looks at Lev as we sit in my living room, a drink in each of our hands. "So, Lev, how did you know something had happened? How did you get the list of people?" Aless asks him.
"They had contacted me because they wanted my help. But those dumbasses sent me the wrong file, I got my hands on the list of everyone involved. But I immediately knew what they were up to, it is stupid what they are doing. I know you are not a stupid man, Matteo Rossi." Lev says, looking and gesturing over to me.
I heard what he said but it's almost like it did not go into my brain. I just keep thinking about Aria. She is everywhere, and as I sit on this couch, I cannot help but think of the night she met my parents 'officially' as she likes to call it because the first two times do not count to her.
I can hear them talking for a while but I just sit there, staring blankly at the wall, at my phone that she has not replied to in days. No call backs, no texts, nothing.
All of a sudden, I hear Lev say, "Okay then kill the mother?" he says it in a suggestive tone but still confusing.
"What? No, even if they don't get along she will be upset." Alessandro says, shaking his head back and forth.
"She does not have to know, make it look like an accident." Lev suggests, both of them are confusing me a lot. Make whose death look like an accident?
I turn to both of them, "What are you talking about?" I ask.
"Kill your mother in law, the girl does not have to know it was you, you can make it look accidental," he repeats carelessly, taking a sip of his whiskey right after, shrugging.
"No. It will still hurt her if I do, and I am done keeping secrets from her." I say and he nods, agreeing with me.
Aless looks at him confused, "Where did you get that idea?" he asks Lev.
Lev shrugs, a smirk making its way onto his face. "I killed my father in law," he replies. Aless looks at him in shock but I shrug. There must have been a good reason. "He was an asshole to my wife her entire life, and he did not want us together so I killed him. Her arranged fiancé too. Both of them gone, problem solved, she is mine." he shrugs, taking the final sip of his drink.
"Did you torture them, or just straight shot in the head?" I ask Lev.
"The fiancé I tortured, the father, just a shot," he explains to me and I nod.
"Does your wife know?" Aless asks him, but before Lev can reply, someone else does.
She walks in from the hallway that leads to the ballroom, "Of course I know," Lev's wife, Anya replies, walking over to sit next to him. "He did me a favor." she shrugs, leaning her head on his shoulder as he wraps an arm around her and places a kiss at the top of her head.
