Next morning both Bard and Thranduil were lying on Bards bed, Thranduil was hugging the sleeping Bard from behind humming. It had been awhile since he had felt like this, usually he was calm and collected but somehow Bard had managed to break that. He had accepted his falling for Bard, a human, that still sounded weird to him...
Bard moved and Thranduil focused on him. He turned around and opened his eyes, looking at Thranduil and kissing him, Thranduil returned the kiss.
"Morning your Majesty." Bard greeted.
"Good morning your Majesty." Thranduil greeted back addressing and recognizing Bard as a king.
Bard smiled at that and was about to say something when a knock was heard at the door.
"Shit" Bard spoke under his breath. "Yes?"
"I came to deliver your breakfast, King of Dale."
"Ah, thank you. Wait for a moment."
"Move, I need to get to the door." Bard hissed at Thranduil who was blocking his way.
Instead of letting Bard pass Thranduil got up and walked to the door.
"Thranduil! You do not have a shirt on!" Bard hissed.
"Well, it doesn't matter now does it?" He said opening the door.
"Good morning king- your Majesty?" The elf looked a bit surprised to see his half naked king opening the door instead of the human king.
"I would appreciate it if you would give me the food that was prepared for our quest."
"Yes, your Majesty." The elf gave the tray to Thranduil, bowed and hurried away.
Thranduil stepped back with the tray in hand and closed the door. He then put the tray on the table before turning back to Bard.
"How could you do that? You are a king, you cannot go and open a door without a shirt on." Bard said seriously.
"Yes, I am aware I do not have a shirt on, but I am wearing pants unlike you." He said casually.
"Yes, but I could have had opened the door after I had pants on. What you did was inappropriate."
"The guards know when they should keep their mouths shut. They have always been loyal."
Bard rolled his eyes and got up to put his pants on but Thranduil was quicker. He snatched Bard away hugging him from behind.
"Thranduil! Let go!" Bard ordered.
"I do not think you have any power to give me orders." Thranduil staited the quite obvious thing.
"You know very well what I mean Thranduil. I need to put my clothes on so that I can eat my breakfast."
"What if you would wait just a moment, it is not like your breakfast is going somewhere."
"It is not, but I would rather not be naked!" Bard said frustrated.
Thranduil pulled Bard close to him pressing his chest against Bards back. "But it is not like I haven't already seen everything."
"That is not the point Thranduil..."
"Yes, yes...." Thranduil quite beautifully ignored Bard and kissed his neck doing the opposite of what Bard had asked him.
"Thranduil!" Bard yelled but that didn't stop him. He lightly sucked Bards nape leaving mark.
"Ngh, stop." Bard put his hand on his neck making Thranduil pull back.
