"I should really get going Thranduil, otherwise they will leave without me." Bard said smiling
"Do you really have to go back?" Thranduil asked seeming a bit disappointed about Bards decision to leave.
"I have to leave my youngest daughter is still young I couldn't leave her. And what would happen if I still stayed here? I am a king now, I cannot let my people down, not now when we have just started to rebuild our lives."
Thranduil pulled away from Bard. "As a king I understand, but as your lover I do not.."
"Thranduil..." Bard shook his head. "We have to wait for Bain to be old enough to be a king, well that is if he wants to be a king."
"And if he does not want to be a king?"
"Well then there must be another heir because I cannot be a king forever. And If he decides he wants to become a king sooner than expected I am sure the people of Dale will accept him." Bard said reassuring. "And I am sure they did not expect me to be king for long as I have never been the type to lead." He smiled
"Then you will be here in Mirkwood, with me." Thranduil said
"Yes, but we should not get ahead of things..." Bard walked back to his backpack, closed it with all his things inside and put it on his back. "I better get going or the others will really leave without me."
Bard walked up to Thranduil and giving him a quick kiss.
"Have a safe journey back." Thranduil wished
"Yes, we will." Bard nodded. "Bye now." Bard smiled leaving the room.

Bard walked to the yard where the carriage was with Legolas and the three men.
Legolas looked a but smug "Look who showed up." He said a bit mockingly.
"Shut it Legolas." Bard said almost harsly.
"Good morning your Majesty." The oldest fisherman greeted looking at Bard with twinkle in his eyes and a smile on his lips.
"Good morning." He greeted back with a smile. "Shall we get going?"
"Yes, we shall if we want to be back at Dale tomorrow." Legolas said.
"Then let us get going." Bard said

Tilda and Sigrid were outside of Dales walls picking out herbs and other things that they could use in various things such as cooking and healing. Well that was until Tilda noticed something approaching.
She waited for a second before yelling. "Look Sigrid! Dad is back!" Tilda yelled happily as she saw her father was back.
"Father!" Sigrid yelled. Both she and Tilda ran towards the carriage with baskets in hand.
"Tilda, Sigrid, my lovely daughters! Have you been well?" Bard asked opening his arms. His daughters ran up to him hugging him.
"All has been good father." Sigrid answered after a moment of hugging.
"Good." Bard smiled nodding.
He turned to the two younger men ."Can you take the horse and carriage away?" They left nodding.
The older man walked up to Bard. "And I shall continue my work at the shore. After taking a moment of rest." He said
Bard nodded "That sounds good, go ahead."
After the older man left Sigrid turned to Legolas. "And Legolas, you came along."
"Why wouldn't I have come?" He asked confused.
