Chapter 15

Huminga siya nang malalim bago umayos nang tayo sa harap ng binata na Bakas padin ang gulat sa itsura. Hindi niya inaalis ang tingin sa mukha nito para makita niya ang bawat ekspresyon na babalatay sa mukha nito sa mga impormasyong sasabihin niya.

"I was raped Leroy." Mahina niyang sabi at kung may igugulat paman Ang ekspresyon nito ay siguro ito na yon. "Ang batang dinadala ko ay resulta ng pang gagahasa sa akin ng mga taong kumidnap sa akin. I was kidnapped by those guys who killed my parents. Pinagsawaan nila ako at kung hindi lang dumating ang mga kasama ni Sunshine ay baka patay na ako ngayon."

"S-sunshine?"

"T-those men, h-how did you.."

"Kill them?" She asks. "I slice their heads with my samurai." She said at kita niya ang pamumutla nito. "When Sunny's comrade saved me, I get some rest then I hunt them down one by one. I killed them all in one week Leroy. And I don't feel guilty about it." She said bago hinaplos ang tiyan niya. "This baby is my reminder of what I survived that time in my life. I could have abort it, since this is baby is the result of that horrendous crime. But I could never do that. Dugo ko parin too . So I choose to give this baby a chance in life. I will love this baby dahil ito nalang ang meron ako pati si lolo."

She was about to look away when Leroy grab her arms and pull her into a hug. Mahigpit Ang yakap nito sa kanya, and for some reason tila iyon susi na nagbukas nang pinto kung saan niya itinago ang mga mapait na pangyayari  na naranasan niya. She cried in his arms, and he let her.

"Shhhh, Tahan na." Malambing nitong sabi.

"H-hindi ka takot? I killed people Leroy." She asks while crying.

Tiningnan nito ang mukha niya bago pinalis ang mga luha niya. His expression was gentle.

"They deserve it Haru. Whatever you did to them, they deserved it. Yes Mali Ang pumatay nang tao regardless of what sin they committed, but I understand you wholeheartedly. Dahil kung buhay man sila ngayon at nalaman ko ang pinagdaanan mo. I will surely do everything to hunt them down and hurt them just to get even to what they did to you. Hindi ako natakot sa nalaman ko. Hindi ako nandiri at never akong mandidiri dahil sa nangyari sayo." Leroy give her a smile bago nito isinandal ang noo sa noo niya. "Infact, mas humanga ako sayo. To be able to survive what you've been through is remarkable Haru. Hindi lahat ng tao na nakaranas sa naranasan mo ay may matibay na pag iisip gaya mo. You are strong Haru, way strong. And I must correct you with one thing, you also have me now, even my family. Hindi lang ang baby at ang lolo mo ang meron ka ngayon. I am also here now. Whatever happens in the future, I can assure you. I will always be here for you. I will volunteer to be your child's godfather. I am your friend who will not gonna abandon you. I will be your support through out this journey hanggang sa magkapamilya na tayong dalawa at kahit hanggang sa tumanda na tayo."

Leroy tuck in a loose strand of hair behind her ear. "Thank you for trusting me enough to tell me your story. I know it's not hard to open up to someone like that so I am grateful Haru."

Napahikbi siya bago tumango at yumakap dito. "T-thank you for not changing your mind after what you learned Leroy. I love you."
