Tae wore a white-greenish saree, her beauty radiating like never before. Jisoo, busy styling her hair, couldn't resist teasing her best friend, "Ohho, Jiju (brother-in-law) is going to lose his senses today!" Tae's eyes met Jisoo's in the mirror, pleading, "Jisoo, please don't tease me. I'm already so nervous... My heart is racing with every passing moment."

Jisoo smiled and gently applied a small black dot (kaala tika) beneath Tae's ear, a traditional Indian symbol of protection and good fortune

Jisoo smiled and gently applied a small black dot (kaala tika) beneath Tae's ear, a traditional Indian symbol of protection and good fortune. "Calm down, Tae... Take a deep breath and relax. Don't worry, I'll be with you every step of the way," Jisoo reassured her. Tae's eyes sought confirmation, "Promise?"

Jisoo chuckled and nodded, "Promise!" She then requested, "Okay, now smile for me, please." Tae's face lit up with a radiant smile, and she gazed at her reflection in the mirror.

She couldn't deny it - she looked stunning in the saree, and Jisoo's encouragement had boosted her confidence.

Just as Jisoo was about to say something, a car horn honked outside the house, interrupting her. "I think they're here," she exclaimed, her face lighting up with a wide smile as she gazed towards the window. Tae's breath caught in her throat, her nervousness reaching new heights as her heart raced faster.

Before she could even process her thoughts, Jisoo had already headed out the door, leaving Tae alone. "Wait, Jisoo!" Tae tried to call out, but it was too late. Jisoo was already gone, leaving Tae to her anxious thoughts. "Oh God, please help me," Tae prayed, her voice barely above a whisper.

Meanwhile, the Kim family warmly welcomed the Jeon family into their home. Jungkook took a seat on the couch beside his sister and brother-in-law, surveying the interior of the house with genuine admiration. Despite his initial reluctance to attend the meeting, he managed a courteous smile as he greeted the Kim family.

Throughout the car ride, his family had been raving about Tae, piquing his curiosity and sparking a hint of impatience to finally meet the girl who had so thoroughly impressed them with just a single photo.

Jungkook found himself glancing at his wristwatch repeatedly, his mind wandering. But then, a sudden memory of the anklet girl flashed before him, bringing a faint, melancholic smile to his face. He let out a soft sigh and refocused his attention on the conversation between their families.

Just then, Yoona spoke up, her excitement palpable, "Yeri, where is your daughter? Please call her; I'm growing impatient to meet her!" Her words brought a chuckle from the gathered family members, lightening the atmosphere.

Jungkook's heart raced at Yoona's words, and a sudden wave of nervousness washed over him. He was perplexed by his own emotions, feeling both anxious and intrigued at the same time. His mind kept wandering back to the anklet girl, and he found himself longing to see her again, though he couldn't explain why.
