Jungkook returned home after dropping Taehyung off at her place. He then headed back to the police station, where he received a stern lecture from his fake boyfriend.

With a wide smile still plastered on his face, Jungkook entered his home. He found his mom in the living room, chatting with his dad. He tossed his cap onto the table, swept his mom into his arms, and began spinning her around, twirling her with joy.

"Aree kook, beta (oh Jungkook, son)... what's gotten into you?" she asked, holding his shoulder tightly.

"Nothing, mom! I'm just so happy today!" he exclaimed, his voice full of joy, making everyone in the living room chuckle.

Jungkook hugged his mom tightly, and then turned to hug his dad, who was taken aback by his sudden display of affection. Meanwhile, Jimin smiled knowingly, aware of the reason behind Jungkook's happiness.

"Aree, tell us too, Jungkook! Why are you so happy today?"

Jungkook looked at his brother-in-law Yoongi, walked towards him, and embraced him tightly.

"I'm so happy because of all of you!"

"What did we do to make you this happy?" he asked, chuckling at his son's childish behavior.

"Offo, dad... He's happy because he's got Taehyung in his life, thanks to us. After all, we chose Taehyung for my dumb brother," Jimin said with a teasing smile, glancing at Jungkook, who suddenly looked down, feeling shy.

"Oh, the great Jeon Jungkook, who wasn't interested in marriage and all that, is now getting shy because of a girl! Not bad, brother-in-law. You've finally fallen!"

Yoongi said, and everyone burst out laughing at Jungkook's expense, making him even more embarrassed. Without hesitation, he quickly retreated to his room, ignoring his family's calls.

"I never thought I'd see him this happy again," Yoona said, smiling through tears of joy, as Jungwoo wrapped his arm around her in a side hug.

"Maa, Tae is perfect for Kookie, I knew it! Now you'll get to see many more facets of Jungkook's personality in the coming days," she said with a sly smirk.

Yoona smiled and hugged her daughter, who smiled back and returned the hug.

"Dad, I got a call from Mr. Ray. He wants to sign a deal with our company."Yoongi said.

"Oh, okay... I-" They both walked away, engrossed in their discussion about work.

You might be wondering why Yoongi lives in his in-laws' house. The thing is, he was an orphan and used to work at Jeon Enterprises under Jeon Jungwoo. He became like a part of the family, and eventually married Jimin.

Yoongi would often visit the Jeon mansion to discuss work and also to catch glimpses of Jimin, whom he had been secretly crushing on for a long time. However, he was unaware that Jimin had feelings for him too.
