Taehyung quickly jumped up from Jungkook's lap, her face burning with embarrassment, and stood upright, trying to compose herself.

Meanwhile, Jungkook remained on the floor, wishing he could sink into the ground and disappear.

Eunwoo awkwardly apologized, "Um, sorry, you guys continue...," before swiftly walking away, leaving the two embarrassed youngsters alone.

Taehyung glared at Jungkook, who gave her a nervous smile.

"Jungkook, I think you should go now," she said, her voice laced with embarrassment, as she poured water from the pan into a glass for her grandfather, trying to regain her composure.

Jungkook huffed and began walking towards the door, wiping the flour from his face with his hands.

But before he could exit, he turned back to Taehyung and gave her a quick, playful smooch on the left cheek.

Then, he darted away, leaving a blushing Taehyung behind.

Jungkook emerged from the kitchen, dusting off the flour from his clothes. As he started heading towards his room, he heard the laughter of his family members.

He wondered why everyone was laughing. His eyes then fell on Jisoo, Jin, and Jack, who were all covered in mud. Jungkook couldn't help but burst out laughing at the sight.

Meanwhile, Taehyung was bringing water from the kitchen, but she was taken aback by the scene before her.

"Is this my house or a zoo?" she exclaimed, shaking her head in disbelief, a smile spreading across her face.

Time Skip

Everyone had already left in their cars for the jewelry shopping trip, except for Eunwoo, Yeri (Taehyung's parents), Jungwoo, Yoona (Jungkook's parents), and Taekook..

They were waiting for Namjoon, who had gone back inside to fetch his phone, which he had forgotten in the living room.

After a brief moment, Namjoon returned and told everyone to get in the car. Taehyung was about to sit in the back seat when Jungwoo suddenly stopped her.

"Tae, beta, the back seat is reserved, you sit in the front with Jungkook," he said with a smile.

Taehyung's lips curled inwards, and she looked down shyly, her face flushing with embarrassment.

Jungkook, on the other hand, mentally thanked his father for his clever suggestion.

"Okay, okay... you sit in the back and chat with your mother-in-law, you'll be sitting with Jungkook for the rest of your life!" Namjoon said with a laugh, trying to lighten the mood and avoid the awkwardness.

Taehyung slightly nodded her head, still looking down, her face flushed with shyness.

Jungkook then opened the back door for her and helped her in, making sure she was comfortable.

He also assisted the others in getting settled before finally taking his place in the driver's seat.

As he started the car, he glanced over at Taehyung, who was sitting quietly in the backseat, her eyes fixed on her hands, still looking a bit flustered.
