Taehyung’s quiet realization brings a new wave of emotions, mixing anxiety and anticipation as she contemplates the possibility of pregnancy. Her sudden illness, the dizziness, and the strange feelings she’s been experiencing all seem to point toward this life-altering possibility. The weight of it hangs in the air as she lies beside Jungkook, who remains blissfully unaware.

The idea of carrying their child is both exciting and terrifying for Taehyung. While she feels a sense of warmth and hope at the thought, there’s also uncertainty—how would this change things between her and Jungkook? Would he be ready for such a step in their relationship?

As her mind races, Taehyung knows she can't keep this to herself for long. She’ll need to confirm her suspicions, but for now, in the stillness of the night, she holds onto the secret, waiting for the right moment to share it with Jungkook. The next day might bring clarity, but for now, all she can do is wonder what the future holds.

The morning sunlight filtered through the curtains, casting a soft glow over the room. Taehyung stirred, her body still heavy with exhaustion from the restless night. She glanced over at Jungkook, who was already awake, watching her with concerned eyes. His hand gently brushed her cheek.

"How are you feeling?" he asked softly, his voice full of care.

Taehyung smiled weakly. "A little better. I think the worst of it has passed."

Jungkook's brows furrowed, his worry still evident. "Are you sure? You were up all night, and you barely slept."

Taehyung hesitated. She wanted to tell him, to share the thoughts that had been keeping her awake, but uncertainty still lingered. What if it was just a false alarm? She didn’t want to worry him unnecessarily. But at the same time, the possibility felt too real to ignore.

"I'm okay, really," she said, reaching for his hand. "Maybe I just need to take it easy today."

Jungkook didn’t seem convinced, but he nodded, squeezing her hand gently. "Alright, but if you still feel off later, we’re going to see a doctor. No arguments."

Taehyung nodded, her heart fluttering at his protectiveness. She leaned into his embrace as he wrapped his arms around her, pulling her close. The warmth of his body calmed her, if only for a moment.

Throughout the day, Taehyung’s thoughts kept drifting back to the possibility of being pregnant. Every little sign seemed to point in that direction—the nausea, the dizziness, the sudden tiredness. She found herself unconsciously placing a hand on her stomach, as if trying to connect with the life she wasn’t sure was there yet.

Later that afternoon, while Jungkook was at his work, Taehyung stood in front of the bathroom mirror, staring at her reflection. She had been avoiding the next step, afraid of what she might discover, but now she knew she had to face it. She had picked up a pregnancy test earlier, and now it was time to know for sure.

Her hands trembled slightly as she took the test, following the instructions carefully. The minutes that followed felt like an eternity, her heart racing with every second. She stared at the small white stick, willing it to reveal the truth.

And then, slowly, two faint lines appeared.

Taehyung’s breath caught in her throat as she stared at the result, her mind racing. It was positive. She was pregnant.
