Tae's face turned towards the other side, granting him more access, but her eyes suddenly widened in fear as she saw a shadow behind the curtains. She let out a loud scream, her eyes closing tight, and her body tensing up in fright.
The person hiding behind the curtain was startled by Tae's sudden scream, their eyes wide with surprise and fear, frozen in place, unsure of what to do next.
" Tae... hey.."
Tae's eyes snapped open at the sound of the voice, and a wide smile spread across her face as she saw her favorite person standing in front of her...
"Didi" (older sister)... She screamed in happiness and flung her arms around Jisoo's elder sister, Jin, causing her to stumble backward, but she still managed to hug Tae back.
"Omg, what a surprise!!! When did you come? I thought you weren't coming?" she exclaimed, her eyes shining with excitement.
"Are, how can I miss my brother's engagement? After all, he's my only brother," Jin replied with a smile, flicking Tae's forehead and making her pout.
"Btw, why were you hiding behind the curtains?" she asked, her curiosity piqued.
Jin chuckled and walked towards the bed, sitting down on it.
"Ham aapko surprise dene wale the... but aapne to hamhe hi surprise de diya" (I was going to surprise you, but you surprised me), she said, rolling her eyes playfully, making Tae chuckle.
"Btw, who's Jungkook?" she asked casually, unaware of the effect her question would have on Tae.
Tae's eyes widened, and she choked on her saliva as memories of her daydream came flooding back.
She instinctively touched her ears, relieved to find her earrings still in place. Her face turned a deep shade of red as she realized it was all just a dream, a vivid daydream.
Jin's eyes sparkled with curiosity, "Someone's blushing, I see... so, who's he?" she asked, wiggling her eyebrows, making Tae's face grow even redder.
"He is my would-be husband," she said slowly, her eyes cast downward, her face still flushed with embarrassment.
But before she could finish, Jin's eyes widened in shock, and she let out a loud shout: "WHAT?!!! Omg, why didn't anyone tell me before?"
Jisoo entered the room, carrying a food tray, and chuckled at the scene. "Because, my sweet sister, you told us not to disturb you by sharing anything," she said with a grin, teasing Jin about her own instructions.
"Yeah, yeah" (rolls her eyes) "Acha Tae, tell me, who is he? Is he handsome and hot? What does he do?" Jin asked excitedly, her eyes sparkling with curiosity, making Tae and Jisoo chuckle.
"His name is Jeon Jungkook. And yes, he is so handsome and hot..." She trailed off, a shy smile spreading across her face as she thought about him. "And he's an ACP (Assistant Commissioner of Police)."
"Do you have his picture? Show me!" she demanded, her excitement reaching new heights, making Tae laugh and blush even more.
Tae nodded and showed some of Jungkook's pictures to Jin, who gasped in surprise, her eyes fixed on the handsome hunk. "Holy shit! He is totally daddy material," she exclaimed, still gawking at the photos.
