After you showered, changing into some baggy sweatpants and a shirt you used to paint your room in, you headed to her room where you knew she'd be. Yes, she needed her sleep if that's what she was doing, and yes, you should probably be way more coy or suave or whatever, but right now you were feeling anything but that.
You knocked to a rhythm and waited excitedly for her to open the door.
"Tasha," You cooed, going soft, when she opened the door and you noticed she changed into a pair of shorts with only a sports bra, "You got me a book."
"You don't like it?"
"I love it," You corrected with a smile, swaying back and forth slightly, "And I think you got it because you liiiiike me." You teased and she smirked, crossing her arms.
"If I didn't, I'd send you back to the doctor," She smiled, reaching for your hand, and you let her tug you inside, "But since you're here."
She closed the door behind you and boxed you against it with one hand by your head and the other on your hip. She then took her hand away from the wall and lifted your chin so that you'd be looking her in the eyes while her other hand rubbed small circles into your side.
"I'm sorry," You smiled to yourself, teasing her, "Since I'm here, what?"
She leaned over to whisper in your ear,
"I don't plan on letting you out of my sight."
"Have I told you how incredibly sexy you are?" You blurted, cheeks tinting red at your own boldness.
She smashed her lips against yours and you moaned at the feeling, feeling her smirk into it before letting you go.
"Am I hurting you, baby?" She taunted and you were putty in her hands.
"Not physically," You told her, and she waited for you to continue, "But my god, Romanoff, you're playing with my heart."
She started laughing, letting you go to clutch her stomach and then you pushed her back to lay on the bed, tackling her.
"I can't believe you wobbled here on crutches." She laughed, realizing you set them outside the door before coming in.
"I don't need them," You shrugged, and she played with your hair while you laid on top of her, supporting yourself with your hands near her sides, facing her, "Plus, I was highly motivated."
"Oh, yeah?" She smirked, "What for?"
"You see, there's this redhead that's head over heels for me," You explained with a teasing smile, but she just returned it with a genuinely sweet one, "And she feels guilty for what happened, but I really wish she wouldn't."
"I shouldn't have left you out there by yourself," She frowned, remembering back, "I knew about Hydra, and I was careless."
"They weren't even Hydra and even if they were, I'm not your responsibility. You don't have to protect me; I can take care of myself."
"Is it so bad if I want to?" She asked quietly and you scrunched your eyebrows, "Just do me a favor and don't get yourself into situations that will give me a heart attack, okay?"
"I would ask you the same," You thought for a moment, "But that'd mean I never get to see you naked."
She laughed again, tightening her hold on you. You chuckled into her neck and then placed soft kisses, making her hum.
You couldn't help but to think about how you wouldn't have this, any of this, if you didn't make it out alive.
You pulled back, searching her eyes for something you couldn't place your finger on, and she leaned up to kiss you softly.
