I screamed as soon as I woke up. A pair of hands were shaking me violently and I met the eyes of the crazy AI tooth man.

"What do you want?" I yelled angrily, rubbing my eyes.

"I was just waking you up for the next adventure!" He explained in his always-cheerful tone.

I groaned. "But.."

"No time for 'but's! Meet me in the main room!"

I sighed angrily and hopped out of bed then groggily walked over to the door and opened it as Caine dissolved into the air, reappearing in the main room in front of the gang. I hobbled over to the couch and sat down next to Ragatha.

"Good morning!" Ragatha looked down at me with a smile.

"Morning.." I mumbled.

"Someone's still sleepy." Jax observed.

I yawned coincidentally, making him chuckle a little.

"So, what have ya got planned for us today, Canines?" He asked.

"I am glad you asked!" Caine exclaimed. "This idea came to me just five minutes ago, and I have absolutely fallen in love with it! I think you're all going to really enjoy this one!"

"Just tell us what it is already." Zooble grumbled, folding their arms.

Caine showed off some jazz hands. "This adventure is.. 'The Marvelous Magical Musical'!"

"I'm out." Jax said immediately.

"Oh no you aren't!" Caine stopped him. "There has been too many skips on the adventures lately, so nobody is skipping out on this one!"

"What?" Zooble and Jax shouted in unison.

"Be as mad as you want, but I'm doing you all a favor here."

Caine crossed his arms and faced away from them just like a toddler would. "I've already thought of the perfect solution for your little temper tantrums. I'm letting this be an In-House adventure for your sakes."

"Wait- Then how is this adventure gonna work?" Gangle asked.

"That's for you to find out! Have fun you little stagehands!" And with that, Caine disappeared.

Everyone glanced at each other, then went their own ways. Only me and Jax remained.

"I'm nervous for what's gonna happen." I admitted.

"I'm sure it'll be fine." Jax said. "Hey, wanna go outside? I think the stars are coming out."

"Of course." I agreed.

We both started making our way to the digital lake, laughing and talking as we went. Once we found a good spot, we laid down with our eyes hooked onto the stars.

"Do you think we'll see each other again if we escape?" I asked softly.

Jax was silent for a few moments, then responded, "I hope so. I'll never stop looking for that beautiful face of yours."

I blushed and smiled from ear to ear as I felt our hands intertwine. I looked over at him, then it begun.

"How could something so delicate also be dangerous?

Kind of afraid of it, darling, believe me~"

Jax's face looked puzzled as he heard himself start to sing unwillingly. I started blushing uncontrollably and a smile tugged at my lips. We both rolled over and looked into each other's faces.

"I'm just praying you keep me.."

I felt his hand squeeze mine.

"And you look like an angel there, you and your braided hair,"

His hand reached up and started caressing my cheek, then he lifted it up and started playing with my hair as he slowly felt more comfortable.

"Oh, it's just so unfair you'll never see~

You've got a hold on me~"

His hand went back to tracing my face.

"And it feels like suicide looking into your eyes,

I get so terrified that I'm gonna lose you.."

His voice faltered a little at that line. He lifted the hand that was holding mine up to his chest. I could feel his heart beating quickly.

"And I'll die if I do~"

A smile came to his face.

"It's a death wish love.

Take my heart, I'll let you spill my blood.

Cut me down again~"

We both scooted closer, so that no one could see our faces. We felt more safer from the thought of someone watching us.

"I love you, and I'll love you to death~

On and on and only you can kill me now,

I'll scream your name until my lungs give out,

I breathed deeply, calming my nerves. Then, I shocked him by starting to sing.

"The way that you make me laugh, nobody else does that.

You've got the upper hand and if you squeeze~

I would fall to my knees~"

He grinned, then began to sing again.

"And I'll ask the stars at night, how I can slow the time-"

"Man, I'm so terrified that I'm gonna lose you..

And I'll die if I do~"

He leaned in, then kissed my forehead.

"It's a death wish love.

As the song ended, we both stood up.

He lifted his hand to my cheek. He looked into my eyes with such joy it seemed he couldn't find any words to say.

"What have you done to me?" He asked, chuckling.

"I loved you." I replied.

With that, he leaned down and kissed me.
