As soon as we were back, Bella and I went our own ways. I did my homework, which was an impressive amount. I was still worried about Bella, but I knew she would talk when she was ready. She went to the store to buy food and I tagged along. It was uneventful, I managed to sneak some junk food in the cart, which she bought without noticing, something was definitely wrong. Like I said before, she would talk when she was ready. She made dinner and we ate in silence. I normally don't mind silence, but this was awkward. Nonetheless I didn't break it, for fear of an even more awkward conversation. I helped clean up the kitchen then went to bed early, already dreading the time when I would have to awaken again.
The rest of the week and another passed without much variation. I still sat with Wren and her friends, but I really did not engage with them any. Bella was still shaken up about her encounter with the biology jerk, who stopped showing up for school after that day. She kept wondering what was wrong with her, I suggested maybe she did smell, but she just glared at me. I hated him fully. He better watch his back. I was currently walking to the lunch room with Wren, who was annoyed about some girl who had said something she didn't like to her. I got my lunch and sat. I glanced around the room for my sister. I found her, but she looked like she had just seen a ghost. I followed her line of vision to the Cullen table. Wren had told me about them on my first day here. I noticed she was staring at Edward Cullen, the biology brat. He was back. I told her to confront him way back when she first told me, I wondered if she would today. She was always shy when it came to confrontations. I tried to avoid them too, but mainly because I had a short temper and tended to punch people who annoyed me. In my mind it took 42 muscles to frown, but only 4 muscles to slap the person who made you want to frown. I believe we can all see the logical decision. I wondered if she would take my advice. Confrontations were so not her thing. Now looking at the Cullens they are a little freaky. I mean they are too rigid, somethings not right with them. I saw the bronze haired arse turn to look at me as though he had heard my thoughts. Nope, that's not normal at all. I had a feeling that I did not want to know the truth. Although I could not shake the feeling that I already knew. It was like one of those words that is on the tip of your tongue, but you just can't figure it out. Only right now, I wasn't really in the mood to figure it out. I would like to get used to living in Forks before I add more problems to my list. I finished lunch with these thoughts. I could feel the bronze jerks eye on me the whole time. I mean, is it really necessary to stare? The feeling of being watched disappeared. This might actually add some interest to the gray and boring day of Forks
The rest of the school day dragged on. I was impatient to hear what Bells did, if anything. I leaned against Bella's rust mobile, waiting for her. I could feel eyes on me, when I turned I saw the small pixie girl from the Cullen cult staring at me. She said something to the blonde one who looked like he had a metal rod up his back. He glanced at me and pursed his lips, as if deep in thought. Rolling my eyes I drew my attention to Bella, who was finally making her way toward her truck. I refused to have any sort of ownership of it. I yelled at her to hurry up, and climbed in, waiting for her. She finally did, appearing to be in a sort of daze. I waved my hand in front of her face.
"Earth to Bella. How did biology go? Do I need to hunt down someone?" I asked. She blinked a few times then replied.
"No, he actually talked to me and tried to be civil. He apologized and everything. He left just as quickly though." She said, I scowled a little.
"Well, that sucks, I don't get to beat up anyone. Weirdo." Bella just rolled her eyes at me and started driving toward the place that apparently was our home now.
