By some miracle I made it back to Charlie's house. I was originally somewhere near La Push, which explains the large wolves who saved my hide. I needed to get some sort of vampire fighting technique. I wonder if there was one. I mean, there has to be some sort of weak stop on a vampire, right? Well, time to figure that out later. Bella was already back and overjoyed to see me. She thought I had gotten killed or something. Honestly I was offended, did she think I would die that easily? I mean I did almost die, but almost only counts in horseshoes and hand grenades. She called the Cullens, who were apparently out trying to find me. They were doing a very poor job of it. I just walked to my room and plopped down on the bed, it had been a long day. I was too lazy to get back up to turn off the light, so I just laid there. I listened to the sound coming from outside. They were a lot clearer than they should have been. The wind whispered through my cracked widow, the leaves rustled gently. I swear I could hear a deer running quickly and quietly through the woods. But that was impossible. At some point I must have drifted off to sleep, because when I open my eyes again my room is dark, as is the world outside. I feel the presence in the house, as clearly as if the wind is whispering its secrets to me. In my half asleep state, I was extremely offended that the idiot would even try to come back to Bells room after I told him to stay out. I rolled out of bed and stomped out of my room and to Bella's room. Instead of entering I pounded my fist hard against the door, I figured either Bella would wake up and answer, in which case Edward would flee, or Edward would answer in an attempt to get me to shut up and I would personally kick him out. After I hit it three times the door swung open to reveal a shadowy figure I recognized to be the dracula-wanna-be himself.

"Shh." He hissed. I blearly jabbed a finger at him.

"Get out!" I whispered shouted at him. "Now." I added for good measure. Then I turned and hobbled down the hall without waiting for his answer. When I reached my room I gratefully collapsed on my bed and promptly fell back asleep, not too worried if Cullen heeded my words or not. The next morning Bella looked both excited, and terrified. When I questioned her about it she danced around the topic, then changed the subject on me. I had a vague idea what would cause this reaction in her, and I did not like it one bit. She was going to see him at some point today. I personally was just excited we finally had the weekend, the week seemed to drag on forever, and I didn't even go to school yesterday. I was surprised when Charlie did not mention this, Bella must have cleared it up with him. I was slowly shoving my cereal into my mouth when a knock sounded at the door. Bella came clamoring down the stairs as fast as she could without killing herself, shouting all the way that she had it. She refused to let me get it, and I could only assume that she was worried I would scare our guest away. Even if he was a vampire, because the 'guest' was Edward Cullen. I would have gotten up to yell at him about breaking and entering and all that jazz, but it really was too much work to put my cereal down and walk over there. So I just simply glared at him through the doorway. Bella said a hastily goodbye, then rushed out the door, making a faint smile appear on Cullens face, and a scowl on mine. He hurried after her, but not before I threatened him mentally. I was both positive and completely unsure of what I was going to do the rest of the day. I was sure I was doing nothing that related even a little to school, but what to actually do remained the thought in my head.
