Shirou sighed, "Put on some clothes; otherwise, it's going to be awkward."
"What's the big deal? I'm not embarrassed..."
Before Gil could finish his sentence, he projected Rhongomyniad and fired a shot between Gil's legs, hitting the ground not far away.
"Sizzle~"
White smoke rose from the ground.
He chuckled, "See, I'm serious. Clothes on, or I'll burn that thing of yours."
Gil broke into a cold sweat and said, "I got it, I got it. Geez... You're really violent."
A golden ripple appeared in front of him, and he quickly stuck his head into it, rummaging for his clothes.
As Gil searched through the treasury for his clothes, he couldn't help but sneakily watch Shirou, who had the Holy Lance in hand and was giving him a rather intense look, as if he might use the light cannon to scorch his "little elephant."
Feeling a headache coming on, Gil shook his head and started searching for his clothes more seriously. "Ah... ah... Where did I toss them... Ah! There they are!"
Finally, he pulled out a beautifully crafted Sumerian-styled garment, mostly made of silk, and quickly slipped it on.
"Now then, let's have a proper chat, Eternal King. Scratch that, I should call you Fujimaru Shirou," Gil said, his crimson eyes shimmering with a faint red light.
"Sha Naqba Imuru, huh?"
Gil nodded, wearing a self-satisfied smile. "I really didn't see that coming. My older self, in the Fourth Holy Grail War of this world, chose the Eternal King as the prized possession. I have to pat myself on the back for that decision. Clearly, I knew how to pick the most valuable treasure. It's just a shame it wasn't recorder in my treasury in the end."
Gil looked somewhat regretful.
Shirou scratched his cheek awkwardly. "Uh, well, when you put it like that, it does make you sound like a real weirdo."
"What's so strange about it?" Gil said with a strange expression on his face. "If you want a treasure, you want it. Why hide your desire? That's just being dishonest with yourself."
After a pause, he smiled and continued, "However, it's no wonder my older self noticed that flame within you right from the start. After all, you're not only someone who was recorded as the Eternal King but also someone who managed to alter the course of Pan-History."
Gil seemed to be unaware of the fact that he was from another world. Shirou thought for a moment before replying, "You flatter me, Gil."
"No, it's not flattery," Gil shook his head and continued, "In terms of existence, besides the outsiders who have reached the truth of the world, there's no one else like you. It really sparks my curiosity - why do you possess a similar essence to that of the outsiders?"
Pausing, Gil turned his head and gazed towards Ryuudou Temple. "Perhaps, this is also the reason why that outsider has appeared here."
Suddenly—
"Thud, thud, thud!"
The ground beneath them trembled, and a colossal black arm burst out from the nearby mountaintop, reaching menacingly towards Young Shirou.
However, Shirou remained surprisingly unfazed. He casually twisted his wrist, and Rhongomyniad responded by gathering dense magical energy within. Then, with a resounding "boom," a starlight cannon was launched towards the approaching black arm.
Seeing this, Gil quickly raised his hand, summoning golden ripples that materialized into multiple shields before the black arm.
Yet, despite his efforts, one by one, the starlight cannon tore through the shields with unwavering force. Its momentum remained unstoppable, and it collided with the black arm head-on, completely obliterating it in an instant.
