I thought I'd write a chapter today to celebrate Piper's birthday. (03/06)

Happy birthday to our very own Beauty Queen!

"Okay, this is fine," Rose said as they walked down the hallway.

"Yeah, totally fine," Katie said bitterly. "It's not like you just gave away our one of a kind magic GPS."

Rose sent her a nasty glare. "Zip it."

"Guys, maybe there's better ways to spend our before-the-final-fight time, you know, not fighting, maybe?" Travis said.

"Fine," Rose said.

"But I'm right! We have no clue where to go!" Katie said.

"Actually, I have this geolocalization type power thing I inherited from my dad," Travis said. "It's like an inner compass that doesn't necessarily point North, but rather where I want to go."

Rose and Katie frowned at him as they continued walking down the hallway.

"Then why did you never use it?" Katie said.

"Because we had Rose's camera, and it felt more trustworthy," Travis said.

"This sudden skill you have that you never told us about kinda feels like a plot device," Rose muttered.

"So where to, Compass-man?" Katie said.

"Actually in the other direction," Travis said.

Travis, Rose, and Katie spun on their heels and started walking down the hall they came from.

They remained silent for a little while.

"What are we going to do when we get out?" said Rose. "I mean, we need to get back to Camp and, if I'm correct, it takes around 47 hours driving to get from San Francisco to Long Island. Even worse by bus."

"Plane?" Travis said.

"Vetoed. I don't want to meet any more evil flight attendants," Katie replied. "How about the Labyrinth? It got us from Quebec to here, and how long would that be driving?"

"46 hours," Rose said.

"It's weird that you know that so quickly," Travis mumbled. "Are you the GPS or am I?"

Travis took the left passage and Rose and Katie followed.

"You are, G.P.Trav-iS.," Rose said. "The Labyrinth could be our best bet. We'd have my camera so we'd be okay."

"But time is always messy in there," said Katie.

"We'll be fine," Rose said.

"Either way, if we manage to get Iris back to power she can just wizz us back to camp, no issue!" said Travis

"I don't know how gods work, but usually after I get tired from overusing my powers, it kinda takes me some time to regain control over them," Rose said. "I think it's similar with gods."

"Oh. Well, then the labyrinth is probably the best idea," said Travis.

"Yep," said Rose.

This was nice. Talking about their trip back to camp was like a guarantee that it was definitely going to happen. It was relaxing. They'd survive the encounter with the Empousa Queen and be okay. Hopefully.

"STOP!" Travis suddenly shouted.

Katie, who was walking slightly ahead of the group, was grabbed by the shoulders and yanked back, falling against Travis, who fell on his back.
