In his grand chamber within the palace of Amarabad, King Kabir sat in silent turmoil, his mind a whirlpool of concern and responsibility as he sifted through the scrolls and letters spread out before him.

One letter, marked with the seal of Amruthsthaan, caught his attention – it was from his sister, Queen Numaira.

With a sense of urgency, Kabir broke the seal and unfolded the letter, his eyes scanning the words hurriedly. Numaira's tone was grave and urgent, each line leaping off the page.

"Dear Kabir Bhaijaan," the letter began.

"I write to you with great concern to share the grim news unfolding in our city. I refrained from mentioning this when I left Amarabad because I did not want to dampen the joyous mood. On the evening of the family feast, I had received troubling news that Mahir has been missing since our departure from Amruthsthaan for the wedding.

Furthermore, bodies of maids, their throats and wrists cut, were discovered near the shore outside the fort.

Rumors suggest that King Alden of Aldoria is planning an attack on Amruthsthaan in the coming days, and these bodies serve as a sinister warning of what may come. Whispers also hint that he might be behind Mahir's kidnapping.

Therefore, I implore you to send reinforcements immediately, along with scouts to search for Mahir.

Yours Truly,

Numaira Shah Khan

Queen of Amruthsthaan."

The weight of his sister's words bore down on Kabir. Turning to his attendant, his voice filled with urgency, he commanded, "Fetch Vikram immediately."

As the attendant hurried off, Kabir sat in silence, his mind drifting back to the events before the wedding.

**Three weeks earlier...**

Queen Numaira's convoy entered the ancient city of Amarabad in a grand procession, their carriages rolling smoothly over the cobblestone streets.

The city buzzed with excitement and anticipation for Princess Sania's wedding, now just a week away. Vibrant banners fluttered from every rooftop, and vendors lined the streets, selling an array of sweets and silk.

In one of the carriages, Queen Numaira's children Princess Samaira and Prince Sameer, along with Samaira's handmaiden Urfi, sat gazing out at the bustling city
