🌄⚔️
The morning sun began to rise, casting a dim light over the battlefield of Amruthsthaan.
The storm had passed, leaving the ground soaked and the air thick with the scent of rain and blood. The bodies of the Aldorian soldiers lay outside the fort, pecked at by vultures.
The defenders of Amruthsthaan, weary and sleepless, gathered within the fort. Their faces were haggard, their eyes bloodshot from the relentless fight that had carried on through the night. Despite their exhaustion, their resolve remained unbroken.
Queen Numaira and her advisors gathered in a tense huddle, discussing their precarious situation. Manohar, looking grim, addressed the queen.
"Saheba, our forces are severely weakened. Defending against another attack will be nearly impossible without reinforcements from Amarabad. We have sent word, but there is still no news of their arrival."Numaira's expression hardened. "We must hold on. We have no other choice."
Manohar then revealed a piece of critical information. "Saheba, we managed to capture their cannon last night. It could be our key to holding off the next wave."
Numaira's eyes lit up with fierce determination. "This is good news, Manohar. You have my permission. Prepare it for use. We will make every shot count."
Outside the fort, the Aldorian army was preparing for the next assault. King Alden's forces, though battered, were fueled by a fierce determination for victory. Their movements were methodical and precise as they made preparations to land on shore again.
Lord Fenwick approached the king with a worried expression. "Your Majesty, we left the Thunderstrike on the shore last night. It's now in the hands of the Amruthsthaan forces. It could pose a significant threat to our advance."
Alden nodded, his eyes narrowing. "If they have it, they will use it." He paused, deep in thought. Suddenly, his eyes lit up as an idea struck him. "Fenwick, now listen carefully..."
The tension in the air was palpable as both sides readied themselves for the impending battle.
As the morning sun continued to rise, casting long shadows across the battlefield, the stage was set for another fierce confrontation.
