Amir's convoy moved through the dense forest, the path rugged and challenging.

Freya, now walking freely, glanced at Amir. His face carried a hint of sadness, his eyes weary with dark circles around them.

The night before had been torturous for Amir. He had laid outside his tent, staring up at the canopy of trees overhead, replaying the heated argument with Samaira over and over in his mind.

"Why did I let my anger get the better of me? Samaira didn't deserve that," he thought, each moment of regret deepening his sorrow.

Every sound in the forest seemed magnified in the silence of the night, making sleep elusive. He could still see the hurt in Samaira's eyes, a look that haunted him. The rustling leaves and distant animal calls did nothing to soothe his restless mind.

As the convoy continued its journey, Amir remained lost in his thoughts. The weight of his regret seemed to grow heavier with each step his horse took. The added responsibility of leading the convoy and ensuring they reached Amruthsthaan on time pressed down on him like a physical burden.

He knew that every delay could have dire consequences, and the pressure to lead effectively added to his inner turmoil.

Freya, walking nearby, watched him closely. She had noticed his troubled demeanor and sensed an opportunity.

Unable to remain silent anymore, Freya decided to speak up. "Hey, Prince Charming, how's the royal heart? Still aching for the princess who stormed off?" she asked, her tone a mix of mockery and curiosity.

Amir didn't respond, his grip tightening on the reins of his horse. The silence between them stretched, filled only by the sounds of the forest around them.

Freya, undeterred, continued with a sly smile, "You know, love makes people do stupid things. You're no exception. I mean, letting your emotions control you? That's not very princely."

Amir stopped his horse abruptly and dismounted, his face a mask of controlled anger. He unsheathed his sword, causing Freya to take a step back, her eyes widening in fear. She closed her eyes tightly, bracing for what she thought would be her end.

Moments stretched painfully as Freya waited, her heart pounding in her chest. When she finally opened her eyes, she saw Amir holding his sword out, a snake impaled on its blade.

The creature was a 'Viperon', a poisonous breed known for its deadly venom, which could kill a man within fifteen minutes. Its scales shimmered with an eerie green hue, and its fangs were bared in a final, menacing display.

The gravity of what had just happened dawned on her -- had Amir not intervened, the snake would have bitten her, and its venom would have been fatal.

Amir tossed the snake aside and looked at Freya, his expression serious. "Love might make people do stupid things, Freya, but it also gives them strength. It's easy to be cynical, but true strength comes from caring for others, even when it's difficult," he said, his voice steady and resolute.
