**Flashback: 27 Years Ago**

Mahir was a 10-year-old boy, living with his parents in a cramped, single-room home in the slums of Amarabad. The room held a small bed and a corner stove, while the shared bathroom, filthy and open to the entire slum community, lay outside. The stench of waste and the sight of flies buzzing around were constants in Mahir's life.

Hashim, his father, worked as a servant for a wealthy merchant in the city.

Hashim was tall and well-built, with striking features and kind eyes, often catching the attention of those around him.

One evening, the merchant was away on business. As Hashim was sweeping the hall alone, the merchant's wife approached him, her eyes filled with twisted desire.

"You work so hard, Hashim," she purred, stepping closer. "Why don't you take a break and keep me company for a while?"

"What? Saheba, please don't get me wrong," Hashim raised his hands, trying to step away.

Oh, come now," she whispered seductively, loosening her robe. "Don't you want to know what it's like to be with someone of my standing?"

She ran her fingers along his muscular arm, pulling him closer as she perched on the edge of a nearby table.

Hashim pulled away, his voice shaking. "I can't, madam. This isn't right."

"Don't be foolish," she murmured, reclining on the table and using her legs to pull him closer. "I can make your life so much better, Hashim. Just give in." She wrapped her arms around his waist, pulling him on top of her.

Suddenly, the merchant entered the hall, his eyes widening with fury upon seeing them in an intimate position.

"What is going on here?" the merchant roared, his face contorted with rage.

The wife quickly pushed Hashim away, clutching her robe to cover herself, and started crying. "He... he tried to force himself on me!" she sobbed.

The merchant, though he knew the truth, turned a blind eye. "You vile creature! How dare you!" he thundered.

"Men, seize him and take him to the palace court!" He ordered, grabbing Hashim by his collar.

"Saheb! I didn't do anything. I am innocent." Hashim pleaded as he was dragged away.

News of Hashim's arrest soon reached Mahir and his mother, who rushed to the palace in desperation.

Hashim's case was heard by King Amjad in the royal court. The atmosphere was tense, filled with the murmurs of courtiers and onlookers.

The merchant, dressed in his finest attire, stood confidently beside his wife, who bore a visible bruise on her lip and cheek, likely from the slap he had given her after Hashim was taken away
