The setting sun bathed the kingdom of Amruthsthaan in a warm, golden glow, its fading light filtering through the trees in soft, shimmering shafts.

Birds glided toward their nests in the distance, while the fresh scent of damp earth mingled with the lingering breeze, carrying the tranquility of dusk across the land.

Freya, now mostly recovered from her wounds, felt restless. After so many days confined within the palace walls, she craved the open air and the soothing touch of nature.

She needed space to think, to clear her mind of the troubling memories that clung to her like shadows.

Her feet crunched gently over fallen leaves as she made her way through the woods.
The crisp, cool air stirred her senses, making her feel more awake, more alive.

As she walked, the soft murmur of flowing water reached her ears, and she followed the sound until she came upon a river

As she walked, the soft murmur of flowing water reached her ears, and she followed the sound until she came upon a river.

The gentle current wound its way across the borderlands, separating Amruthsthaan from the lands of Indrapur.

Freya found a quiet spot by the riverbank and sat down, her eyes tracing the water's path as it flowed over rocks.

For a moment, she let her thoughts drift, carried by the rhythm of the river. Inevitably, her mind wandered back to Amir.

She closed her eyes, her heart aching with the memory of him—his smile, his eyes. It was both a comfort and a torment to think of him.

Suddenly, something caught her attention in the distance

Suddenly, something caught her attention in the distance. Her gaze locked onto a strange shape near the water's edge, half-hidden by the tall grass.

"What is that?" Freya whispered to herself, squinting to see more clearly.

Her breath hitched in her throat when the blurry shape came into focus—a body, lying face down at the water's edge. The figure was eerily still, the gentle current lapping against his soaked clothes.

Panic surged through her veins. Freya sprang to her feet and sprinted toward the body, her heart pounding in her chest. She knelt beside the figure and, with trembling hands, rolled him onto his back.
