Every weekend, sun-kissed and free,
To Orchard Beach, the whole family.
A ritual of joy in summer's bright light,
Our spirits soared like kites in flight.

Dad humming a tune, no room for doubt,
The road ahead, with its promise of fun,
We'd chase the horizon under the warming sun.

Upon arrival, sand greeted our feet,
Orchard Beach stretched out, a sweet retreat.
Laughter and waves in harmonious blend,
With each visit, our bond would extend.

Dad would unpack with a grin so wide,
Blanket spread out, our beachside guide.
We'd dive into waves, splash and play,
Hours would pass in a golden array.

Ice cream and snacks, our little beach feast,
Dad's stories and jokes never ceased.
He'd point to the sky, to ships afar,
We'd dream of adventures under each star.

As the sun dipped low, casting amber glow,
We'd gather our things, moving slow.
Dad would lead, we'd head back home,
With hearts content, wherever we'd roam.

Every weekend, without fail, we'd reach
Our haven of happiness, Orchard Beach.
Memories woven in sand and sea,
A tapestry of love, our whole family.
