Seasons change

In the garden of memories, a flower once bloomed,
A friendship so cherished, a bond so assumed.
We laughed, we cried, we shared our dreams,
In the warmth of our bond, or so it seemed.
But seasons change, and so did we,
A silent shift in the harmony.
The whispers of distance, the cracks in the seams,
Hints of a farewell in unspoken schemes.
You were my rock, my confidant true,
Yet now I stumble without you.
The inside jokes, the familiar embrace,
Now memories fading, leaving an empty space.
I search for answers in the silent night,
In the stars above, in the fading light.
But all I find are echoes of the past,
Ghosts of a friendship too beautiful to last.
In the echoes of our youth, your laughter rings,
But now it's lost, like forgotten springs.
Once, we were bound by secrets shared,
Now, silence cuts, and I feel bared.
Your absence is a wound, deep and raw,
A best friend vanished, without a flaw.
No reason given, no goodbye,
Just a hollow space, a lingering why.
Did I offend, or did you outgrow?
The answers buried where I can't go.
Memories twist, in the dark of night,
What once was joy, now fuels the fight.
Every smile, every joke we made,
Now shadows in a friendship's shade.
You were the rock, the one who knew,
Now trust in others feels untrue.
In silence, I rage, I cry, I yearn,
For the friend who left, never to return.
What did I miss, what was my crime?
To lose you so, without a sign?
The questions burn, they twist, they sting,
In the place where friendship used to cling.
So here's to the past, both good and ill,
To the echoes of a friendship, lingering still.
And though anger remains, so does the care,
For the friend who left, beyond repair.

And though anger remains, so does the care,  For the friend who left, beyond repair
