The wind blows so gently as it touches my skin.
My eyes are closed. I can't see anything, but I can feel something. A sound of my heart. The butterflies roaming around my stomach. I can feel them all.
I opened my eyes delicately. His eyes are still closed when my eyes catch his face. I watch upon those eyes which are starting to open.
This morning, I woke up with no plans in my head. Myself thinks that this will be just an ordinary day for me to pass through. Who knows that I will be in this position, in this scene, in this moment? Unexpectedly?
The small gesture of his lips being stretched in forming into a genuine smile really captures my heart. So this is the feeling of being loved? Yes love. He just said it a moment ago. I heard it. I completely heard it as he whispered those words to me.
"It's the first time I heard you speak Cebuano. Ever since we met." I firmly said.
His eyes remained settled upon me.
"What does it say?" he asked playfully.
I was hesitant to answer him. Is he even sincere with those words?
Ceasar just chucked. He gripped my arms. Pulling me closer to him.
All of a sudden, I felt a warm embrace from him. My arm has its own mind. It suddenly reciprocates his action and hugs him back. The embrace was so genuine. My heart suddenly feels safe and secured. Like I have a protector and a savior.
I'm the first one who let go and so he is. My eyes shifted from above. The sun is slowly hiding now in the clouds. The autumn clouds started to be a little bit dark.
"Baba na ba tayo? Matagal pa ang pagbaba. Baka gabihin tayo." I asked him.
"I was about to say that." he stands up and offers his right hand to me. "Let's fix our things."
I nodded, accepted his hand, and stood up. Without any words, he drew out all the excess grass on my back with hand.
As we walked by, I saw that many people were still here.
I'm sure it's good to stay here at night also.
I was about to enter Ceasar's car when I noticed how muddy my school shoes are.
"Don't mind it. I'll clean it at home." he gently said.
He started the car and that gives me a signal to pull over my seatbelt-
"Let me do it."
So this is what you called the act of service? I've never felt this kind of assistance to someone. Naninibago tuloy ako sa pakikitungo niya.
Ceasar is always been a gentleman. Bago pa man kami naging malapit. It's just that, hindi ako sanay na ako ang pinaglilingkudan niya ngayon. I'm a newbie to this kind of relationship era.
