Lion king III - Kiara's reign

Chapter 1

KIARAS'S POV:

It was another sunny day in the Pridelands. Since Jasiri became Prime Minister of the Outlands nothing bad has happened. I'm still not used to Kion living in the Tree of Life. And Zuri. She moved there to be with Balyo, Rani's little brother.

My father was giving Kovu some king lessons. Thank god he's now focused on him. I just hope they're getting along.

"Kiara were you listening to me?" my mother asked.

"Ye, yeah, of course". I wasn't, but I preferred not to say the truth.

My mother and I were having our usual walk. We do this every week. Don't get me wrong, I love my mother and the walks that we have together, but I have a feeling that something is not-

I couldn't finish my thoughts. Vitani and the rest of the guard were sprinting towards the border. I knew it. I was going to follow them, but my mother stopped me.

"And where do you think you're going?"

"I was going with the guard."

I looked around and saw Tazama standing on a high rock, probably to get a better view of the territories. We waited about 3 minutes when Tazama said "They're coming. It's not a big group 3 lions and one lioness. The lioness and the lion are not really young but the other 2 seem to be quite strong. "

"Imara, Khasi, you're coming with me. Shabaha, Tazama, you stay here with Kiara and the Queen". They all nodded. My heart was starting to speed up. But there's nothing else we can do.
