KULA'S POV:

We were heading to the rocks. Everyone sited. I noticed that Kiara was really close to him. Nala started talking

"So, where have you been all these years?"

"We've been by ourselves most of our lives. Sometimes we hunted with other prides but normally we were on our own", my husband said.

"Yeah, I remember one of the last hunts" - Akili said- "I broke my leg, so we had to go to the Tree of Life."

"Oh so you already met my brother!" Kiara said. I love the fact that she's always happy.

"Who's your brother?" - Gamba asked.

"It's Kion, he's going to be the king of the Tree of Life some day." I was a bit shocked. What a coincidence! Maybe we've seen each other and we didn't realize it.

"Now that I think, he's really similar to you Simba," said Akili.

After that we kept talking. Nala told the kids some of our childhood memories. Then a bird flew and spoke to Simba.

"Your Majesty, the Zebras want to talk to you." He turned around and looked at us. He aparently recognized us.

"Tojo, Kula, I haven't seen you in a while."

"Great to see that you haven't changed Zazu" my husband said. Zazu? Zazu! King Mufasa's advisor.

"Shall we go Zazu?" Simba asked.

"Yes, of course sire."

They headed to the west.

"So hun, tell us about some stories about your childhood!" - I said. He looked at Kiara, and she gave him a look like - It's your choice.- She smiled at him. He smiled back and said

"I didn't actually had the best childhood. Zira made me train intensely every day since I was like 5." (human age).

"Train for what?"

"Uhm." He was quite embarrassed. Oh no! What have I done?!

There was an awkward silence. Then Kiara said

"Well, have you liked the Pridelands so far?" She was obviously trying to change the subject.

"Kiara it's ok, I can tell them. Zira was training me to take over the Pridelands and rule them in the name of Scar. She had a really specific plan. Everyone had their part. But mine was the most important. I was supposed to get close to Kiara and then kill Simba."

No, no, no. How could I let this happen to my baby! He grew up to be a killing machine! I looked around and everyone was quite sad. He must have had a hard childhood.

"But like uncle Timon says, "you've got to put the past behind your back. And everything is ok now" Kiara said this last part while nuzzling Kovu. I will NEVER ever let anything happen to him. I owe him that.

"It is almost night, we should probably go ahead to the Pride Rock and eat what the hunting party brought for us." Everyone agreed.
