KOVU'S POV:
I was staring at them. They were staring at me. Everyone was crying. Especially the lioness. She runs towards and hugs me.
"My baby is here. You're alive!" mom said this, crying and nuzzling me. Wow, it is strange to actually call someone mom. Someone that actually loves me. Father then joined us.
After about 30 seconds, I was free to breathe again. I looked around and saw 2 males staring at us. They came next to me and each gave me a hug
"You're all grown little Kovu" the first one said.
"You're good bro?" He pulled me into a hug "You must teach me how to get beautiful lionesses." The other one whispered the last part. I smiled.
I looked back because I heard steps. It was Simba.
"Good to see your mane Simba," father said.
"Funny as always. Somethings never change right Tojo?" Simba said. Tojo. My father's name was TOJO.
"It is great to see you Simba". Mom gave him a small hug "Good to see you to Kula". Kula. My mother's name was Kula. She has green eyes like me. Her fur was a bit lighter than mine, but darker than dad's.
"They're Kovu's parents".
Simba was shocked at the beginning, but he just said
"Glad to see that this boy has found his parents" he patted me on the back. I think it was supposed to be a friendly one but it hurted a bit.
"Oh wait. You don't know our names. I'm Akili and this is Gamba. "
I looked at them. They were really similar to one another and to me.
I'm so happy. I turned my face and saw my beautiful mate. She was smiling. In fact, everyone was.
"We're kinda in the middle of the path. Let's settle down over there so we can catch up with everything that has happened in these years" Simba said, looking at the rocks near the watering hole.
