KIARA'S POV:

"That will be great, thanks. His name is Kovu", Tojo said.

My jaw dropped in shock. This can't be happening. It's probably a misunderstanding.

"I'm sorry I don't think I understood."

"His name is Kovu. Do you know him?" I didn't say a thing. I looked at Vitani. She was already looking at me. I didn't know what to do. What am I supposed to say? -Yes, I know him. Oh, and by the way, he's my mate and the future king of the Pridelands-, I can't say that. There was an awkward silence from both parts, so my mom said

"Well, I don't know where he is right now, but KIARA must know". She said this smirking. Well, thanks a lot mom.

"He-he is with father near the water hole". I was blushing 50 shades of red.

"Why is he with the king?" Akili said, making direct eye contact with me. Someone please save me!

"Because he's my mate and he's learning to be the future king". That's it, I said that. Kovu's family was in shock! His mother quickly said,

"Oh that's why you were so shocked. This is amazing, my baby has a beautiful mate!". I smiled a bit embarrassed.

"Our little bro has a better love life than us," Gamba jokingly said.

Everyone was calmer now. That wasn't so bad. I'm just a bit nervous about Kovu. How is he going to react?

"Well, are you guys ready to meet your son and brother?" my mother asked.

Everyone nodded.

We were about to go when mom said "Vitani you and the guard can now continue the patrol. Thanks for the help."

"Yes Queen Nala" the guard left.

We were walking and chatting. Mom was happy. I haven't seen her like this in a while.

We were near the Watering Hole. We could see two different shapes. A lion with a red main, goldish fur and reddish brown eyes. On father's left side was Kovu. A HANDSOME lion with dark brown mane, brown fur and green eyes. He was drinking while daddy was resting on one of the rocks. Kovu saw us. He immediately came towards us. He putted his paw on my shoulder and gave me a small hug. He noticed my expression and asked

"Are you alright?"

"Yes, I'm more than alright. Look". I took a step to the right to let him see what was behind me.
